Initially joining as Project Manager in 2012, I moved to the Senior Quantity Surveyor position in August 2013 and in that time have been the leading Commercial representative across a range of irrigation, landscaping and golf course construction projects across the UAE including The Green Planet and Akoya Oxygen by Tiger Woods Golf Course in Dubai, Al Zorah Golf Course in Ajman and various other development projects across the UAE.
As principle Commercial Representative for the Golf division, I have been responsible for all pre and post contract commercial activities including estimation, pre and post contract vendor procurement, contract administration and project controls, document control oversight, claims preparation and submission, final account determination, Client and Engineer point of contact and overall compliance of contract protocols, reporting directly to the General Manager.
As acting Resident Engineer and Irrigation Engineer for the project R840/2 Landscaping of Several Roads in Dubai -Cost: AED 60.76 Million duties included Co-ordinate all the project related activities with the Client and the Contractor, Monitor the project progress, Ensuring the documentation and correspondence including notices, minutes of meetings etc, Check and approve Interim Payment Certificates of Contractor, Check and approve Final Payment Certificates of Contractor, Check New Rates, Review and furnish recommendations on the Claims by the Contractor
Initially joining as Project Manager, I moved to Head of Quantity Surveying in 2005 responsibilities included Coordinating all project activities vide Preparation of Project Planning, Obtaining NOCs, Design of irrigation projects, Preparation of shop drawings, Material submittals, liaising with the Employer and Consultants, Execution of the work, Monitoring the Cash flow and Yield, Estimation, Tendering, Pre & Post Contract Administration, Vendor Procurement, Preparation of Monthly statements and Reporting to the General Manager. Following are some of the projects handled for various clients namely Dubai Municipality, Nakheel etc.

• IR-73 Irrigation system for Emirates Road Greenbelt Phase-8
• IR-100/1 Irrigation system for additional areas at Al Quoz stable
• IR 757/1A Palm Island (Jumeira) Access Roads
• JAP 015/2 International City Package 2- Infrastructure
As a Project Engineer and Estimator, the responsibilities included Tendering, Quantity Surveying, Preparation of shop drawings, and coordinating with clients, Service Authorities & Sub-contractors, Preparation of Monthly statements. Supervision of construction of Pump rooms, Panel water tank, Foundations, Swimming pools, Hardscaping works, Pergolas, Preparation of Earth work profiles and volume calculations. worked in the following projects for various clients Dubai Municipality being the major Client;
• IR-84- Irrigation system for Damascus Road
• IR-83-Automatic Irrigation system for Al Quds Rd Ext.
• IR-39 Irrigation Net work main for Zabeel 2nd Road.
• IR-54-Automatic Irrigation for Nad Al Shiba Shooting club
• IR-49-Automatic Irrigation for Al Qataeyat Road.

Full project oversight and responsibility for construction of Residential and Commercial buildings up to 3 storeys
As a consultant and licensed surveyor, the responsibilities include Preparation of drawing for Municipality approvals, Supervision of construction of villas and commercial buildings.
