Modules Responsible : OFI, GL, AP, AR, FA, AGIS and SLA
Responsibilities:
•Understanding and analyze the Business Process and Functional requirements of the client.
•Assisted in mapping the Client requirements with Oracle standard functionality and finding the gaps and delivering the solutions in terms of Customizations, workarounds, reengineering and form personalization.
•Preparation of BR100 document for implementation of Advanced Global Intercompany system, iExpenses and Sub ledger Accounting Engine.
•Involved in designing new primary and secondary ledgers, COA and Mapping Sets.
•Setup and configuration of New Ledgers, LEs and operating Units and Asset Books.
•Configured Multi Period Accounting process according to the business requirements and modified sub ledger accounting accordingly.
•Maintain proper coordination with other module consultants to execute the flows in demos and in overall project execution cycle and helped in solution approach in terms of accounting impact.
•Setup and configuration of Multi-Org Functionality after Upgrade from 11i to R12.
•Acted as a point of contact from offshore in gathering the business requirements given by onsite technical and functional team. Assist and co-ordinate with off shore technical team in providing solutions for defect fix, enhancements and preparation of documents.
•Involved in preparation of various AIM documentations.
•Prepared Test scripts for all finance modules and assisted end users while testing during CRP, SIT, UAT and Mock sessions.
•Responsible to resolve the issues received from onsite on GL, AP, FA, AR, iExp and AGIS and Raise Service Request with oracle support where ever requires on criticality basis.
•Involved in Configuration of Advanced Global intercompany system, Subledger Accounting, General Ledger, Account payables (payments manager), Cash Management (Bank Accounts), Fixed Assets and Accounts receivables during CRP, SIT, UAT and Mock and Production Instance
Preparation of Financial Statements of various entities and also assisting the accountants in posting of closing entries.
•Independently carried out statutory audit and tax audit of entities from diversified industries e.g. Manufacturing Concern, Trading Concern, NBFC, and Trust etc. to assure financial statements are fairly presented in alignment with GAPP.
•Looking after the Compliance Requirements of Companies Act, 1956 and related filing with ROC for Corporate Assesses
•Looking after the requirements of the Income Tax Scrutiny Assessment, Filing of Rectification Petition, Demand- refund adjustment and other related departmental work
•Registration of Trust u/s 12AA of Income Tax Act, 1961 and registration/renewal of exemption u/s 80G (v) of I.T Act, 1961
•Internal Audit which covers Vouching & Verification of cash, bank, journals, sales, payrolls, accounts receivables & payables, bank reconciliation.
•Performed Direct and Indirect tax assignments for many organizations and various clients of different tax status.
•Exposed to Statutory, Revenue and concurrent audit of different nationalized banks.
