Responsible for Reference Desk/Circulation duties by keeping daily, monthly and annual statistics and analysis; maintaining of library collection through library inventory; answering interlibrary loan and reference email queries; promoting multimedia room collection; liaising College of Business and Administration; providing bibliographic instruction and assistance to library clientele; supervising study room booking; delivering technical processing of books (spine label and stamping); designing the Learning Resource Center, Professional Development Center and PMUPress newsletter and announcements; academic advising; coordinating with different suppliers of educational equipment; providing assistance to bookstore; and developing online course website.
Being a library manager of Fairview Library Branch, I initiated the upgrade and maintenance of new library system both in High School and Grade School Libraries; established a more secured record keeping of circulation and technical services of the library in all branches of NCBA; provided insights and training for the improvement of library staffs; and worked in collaborations with different departments.
Initiated the upgrade and maintenance of library system that involved barcoding of books, circulation and report generation; reviewed and implemented library policies in accordance to library automation; and trained library staffs and student’s assistants.
Facilitated library instruction for middle school students (grade 4-6); provided reference assistance in using Online Public Access Catalog and internet facility of the library; administered Instructional Media Center; supervised library events such as book fair and monthly best reader’s award.
Responsible for the organization and maintenance of the library collections in the reading area. Furthermore, maintains and updates circulation files which involve the monitoring of circulation transaction and providing assistance to all users in the use of computers with internet facility, OPAC and the different online databases.
Responsible in all library activities and operation.
Facilitates computerization of bibliographic records; helps in organizing the collection of library; and assists patrons in selecting books, etc.
Responsible for the organization and maintenance of the collection and orderliness in the workplace.
