Head Nurse is designated as being the Administrative Manager / Quality Facilitator of designated Units / clinics.
Operationally responsible for quality nursing care and ensuring the compliance to MSD standards in the cultural environment.
Responsible to the nurse management of more than one ward or equivalent sphere of nursing in the hospital.
Accountable to the Director of Nursing to administer all nursing functions efficiently and to ensure that nursing care provided to the patients is of high standard.
Participates in the site management of the hospital and the outlying hospitals/clinics
are required.
