Duties and Functions: Aircraft Structural Specialist
• Performs Quality Depot level maintenance regarding Aircraft Structural repair on fixed wing and rotary type aircraft. This includes major and minor repair aided by a Technical Manual.
• Performs repair and manufacture of aircraft sheet metal work on Aircraft: C-130, F-28 Fokker, F-27 Fokker, S-76 Sikorsky, Bell 205, Bell 412, Bell 212, SF-260 Marchetti, UH-60 Blackhawk, UH-1H Huey and B747-800.
• Performs Inspection Repair as Necessary (IRAN) to all Philippine Air Force Aircrafts, including Presidential Aircrafts and other Government Agencies Aircrafts.
• Performs Aircraft Corrosion Control on affected structural items.
• Perform the Development and Manufacture of General Sheet Metal Work using Engineering Drawings.
• Performs modification of Aircraft Structure as indicated by a Technical Bulletin, on the Rotary type or fixed wing Aircraft.
• Performs fabrication and repair of Aircraft Structures items.
• Design the type of repair to be performed in damaged aircraft structure in accordance with a Technical Manual
• Experience in modification of Aircraft are on; HUEY 2. OV-10 Broncho, SF-260 and Trainer T-41.
