Material and Asset import /Export compliance both permanent and temporary, following PO upon request until delivery, improve the KPI's and delivery time; had decreased the delivery time by 10 days in first year, by now the clearing time is less than 6 days.
Following shipment and tracking with documentations and vessel loading, meeting schedules, and advice for documents requirement. This facts had allowed to decrease the demurrage fees at port by more than 30%
Customs entry document apply via broker follows and advising, in order to improve the asset under temporary import movement smoothly and avoid delays on daily operations.
Brokers invoicing approval and payment follow up by monthly basis; an excel log is created to follow invoicing and payment in accordance with finance dept. and tax laws applicable.
Create policies and procedures for logistics activities; Such as SOP for the Permanent and Temporary Import and Export in country, SOW for the broker contract and it amendment.
Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, inventory, transportation and site delivery; with close work with third party involved to meet operation daily meeting points, the management of change often applied.
Plan and implement material and equipment flow management processes and procedures to meet project requirements, having the logical understand for IT people we created a system for tracking and reporting most of material and equipment flow, the rest is handed to HSE dept.
• Ensure that all the logistics activities (supply, storage, transportation and delivery) comply with laws, regulations and ISO requirements, worked with HSSE to create the EQD for company and to be respected and audited bi- annually.
• Selection of suppliers and service provider such as transportation, freight broker, insurance, the bidding done got it result as we had decreased the cost of brokering and transportation by 25%
• Direct inbound and outbound logistics operations, such as transportation and warehouse activities, safety performance, and logistics quality management.
• Collecting all the necessary project authorizations, permit and certifications. A servicing used to be by third party; once we start it internally, we got an acceptable cost saving almost $3K month.
• Responsible for the custom clearance and freight forwarder activities, to avoid surprise with a third part, we got a second one in place to treat any emergencies.
• Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency. By coaching and helping the warehouse-staffs as well as third part employees’ certification too, we improve the quality of our work.
• Supervise, coach and train people. Following the company policies our team got the online training & courses as well as different training useful at O&G sector (Fire Fighting, CPR, first aid, H2S, defensive driving…etc.)
• Ensure Company compliance with laws and regulations regarding storage and transportation, of material and equipment including restricted materials and equipment. Resolve any legal issues pertaining to transportation, distribution and storage.
• Maintain receiving, warehousing and delivery operations by initiating, coordinating, enforcing project operational and personnel policies & procedures.
• Participate in carrier management processes, such as selection, qualification, and performance evaluation.
Following and tracking asset movement to different rigs (10Rig), Coordinating with customs, brokers & different governmental department for equipment document while transit and clearing in Algeria and time of export.
Weekly reports with management & Operations follows audit, Temporary Import extension, fines & penalties to decrease or erase and contentious situation cleaning with customs, disputes…etc

Responsible of the Importation & Exportation according to Local customs regulations; by leading the team to improve the delivery time less than 6 days including document turnaround Time.
Create the Excel log with full shipment details, and ETA of delivery for operation organisation, this help to plan the job and critical shipment attention.
Following and tracking goods within the supply chain from ex-work until delivery different services especially Drilling & Measurement; Wire-line and Well-Testing segments. Bring my knowledge in supply chain to increase the chance of successful job excellence delivery.
Customs External Audits follow up, Dispute and fines decreasing. We managed to decrease customs penalties from $50K to $2.5K only by auditing documents used, and the good use of customs note and derogation.
