• Calculate Corporate Income Tax and Zakat annually.
• Prepare withholding tax & VAT returns monthly per regulation
and guidelines published by ZATCA.
• Adequate knowledge of the regulations and rules related to
objections against GAZT assessments.
• Coordinate with zakat/tax advisors to prepare full analysis of
GAZT assessment and completion of appeals documentation
in a timely manner.
• Prepare and review Zakat, and Tax provisions and Deferred tax
calculation and disclosures in Financial Statement
• Maintain fixed assets registers with appropriate classification
and accounting for Company's assets and to ensure monthly
journals for depreciation and fixed asset additions together
with category wise reconciliation of Fixed assets registers with
GLs of assets and depreciation.
• Prepare monthly fixed assets and work in progress reports.
• Review GL balances monthly/quarterly to ensure all balances
are properly validated.
• Prepare segment P&L monthly and report variances
comparing to budget to stakeholders.
• Conduct Revenue Recognition (RR) test (IFRS 15).
• Approve non-material purchase requests and allocate costs
appropriately.
• Satisfy audit requirements.
• Calculate sales incentives on a quarterly basis per SI policy.
• Prepare operating expense budget.
• Month-end activities including:
o Prepare journal entries (clear clearing accounts, book
corporate cost allocation & share in results of subsidiaries
etc..).
o Monitor and post accruals and prepayments as required.
o Track supplier charges and create necessary provisions.
