Responsibilities:
Prepare quotes for engineered products by estimating project cost and lead time. Collaborate closely with managing director throughout quoting process.
Manage projects from start (receiving a purchase order) to finish (testing and commissioning); including parts procurement, drafting, production planning, communication with fabrication team, quality assurance, final testing and commissioning, and documentation.
Correspond and liaise with internal and external customers to ensure projects are delivered within budget and lead time.
Draft engineering drawings such as fabrication drawings with weld maps, P&ID and general arrangement drawings for both streamlined and engineered products.
Develop/optimise operational procedures such as fitting instructions, SWMS, FAT test, and hydrogen getter material administration.
Prepare, review and submit documents to clients, e.g. IOM, MDR, SDR.
Achievements:
Successfully delivered a fuel gas heating skid, to be added to capstone microturbine system able to process 2.4GJ/hr. deliverables included parts procurement, drafting, planning/overseeing and quality control of fabrication, Factory acceptance testing and documentation.
Successfully designed, procured parts and oversaw retrofitting actuated control valves into a cryogenic phase separator system.
