Mechanical Maintenance (Static Equipment - Testing & Inspection)
•Witnessing NDT operations such as Radiographic Testing, Ultrasonic Testing, Penetrant Testing, Magnetic particle testing, Hardness Testing, Positive Material Identification. Welding operations such as Welders Performance Test, Welding Procedure Testing and Heat treatment.
•Incoming Material inspection.
•Coordinating with Third Party Inspection Agencies, Clients & Contractors. Attending & Conducting Pre-Inspection & Pre-Manufacturing Meetings.
•Inspecting work in progress for conformance with the latest approved revisions of drawings and specifications and verifying that finished work meets acceptance criteria.
•Monitoring shop floor fabrication ensuring that production activities are in accordance with project specification thereby preventing non - conformance in process materials, during cutting, fit-ups, welding, NDT, inspection and testing, painting and erection.
•Ensuring Fit-ups are correctly made as per WPS and randomly checking that Internal Release Note Information is correctly filled by the shop foreman for proper tractability information.
•Inspection of Plates, Pipes, Fittings, Flanges, Gaskets, Stud Bolts at Stockiest end as per respective materials specifications, Codes, Standards & Client’s Specifications.
Welding
•Familiar with welding processes like SMAW, GTAW, GMAW, FCAW, SAW and related process.
•Reviewing and commenting on subcontractors submitted welding and
Coke drum, Delta Valve Replacement, KO Drum, 30” Vapor line, J2 Mega Shutdown Project (2018).

Prior to Shutdown, familiar with the proposed Shutdown schedule project plans and specifications, during Shutdown, monitor the contractor’s works as per drawing, quality plan, procedure, WPS, WPQ etc., Direction can be given based on the approved P.O, TDC, PQP, Quality control plan, Drawings, Procedures etc., Prepare and submit weekly (or other frequency) inspection reports to the client.
