• Prepares tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities with the client;
• undertakes cost analysis for repair and maintenance project work;
• assists in establishing a client's requirements and undertake feasibility studies;
• performs risk, value management and cost control;
• advises on a procurement strategy;
• identifies, analyze and develops responses to commercial risks;
• prepares and analyze costings for tenders;
• allocates work to subcontractors;
• provides advice on contractual claims;
• analyses outcomes and write detailed progress reports;
• values completed work and arrange payments;
• maintains awareness of the different building contracts in current use;
• understands the implications of health and safety regulations.
Responsible for preparing tender and contract documents, including bills
of quantities with the subcontractor. Also, responsible to work closely with
other units so that decision in all areas are timely and consistent throughout the project.
Duties:
• Prepares contracts including details regarding quantities of required
materials
• Undertakes cost analysis for repair and maintenance of project
• Performs risk and value management as well as cost control
• Advises on procurement strategy
• Reviews all preliminary reports as well as locations of existing utilities
for possible conflict and relocation
• Coordinates structural details and design features within the project
• Coordinates with subcontractors to ensure standards are maintained
and well implemented
