- Supervising architectural finishes.
- Ensuring health safety requirements on site.
- Perform architectural setting out for the building.
- Implantation will reference to major axis, column axis and wall axis throughout the building.
- Inspect steel reinforcement, formwork for complex shear walls, column, reinforced slabs and columns.
- Inspect and approve setting out of masonry block wall construction and its construction thereof.
- Prepare daily reports comprising defective work, labor on site, equipment used and formwork, concrete curing, safety assessment of permanent construction elements.
- Acceptance of survey setting out
- Accept works based on thorough mark up of approved shop drawings based on actual field execution.
- Monitoring and ensure that ready mix concrete delivered to site is per approved document.
- Performs other duties as assigned by upper line of authority within the scope of his qualification.
- Review and approve material submittals, shop drawings, method statement and ITP.
1. Performs daily inspections for the ongoing Civil & Architectural works of main & sub-contractors.
2. Prepares the Requests for Inspection (RFI), reporting for all Civil & Architectural daily checks, and sends the form to Site Management for final approval.
3. Coordinates between Consultant, Site management, and Subcontractors for solving all quality assurance onsite problems.
4. Reports major discrepancies and summary of QA/QC Civil work performed to supervisor for further action.
• Check all setting out and site levels including excavations, backfilling & compaction works.
• Check and review plans & specifications for proper construction & quality implementation at job site.
• Site management and handling the work as per specification, approved shop drawings and method of statement.
• Ensuring and scheduling availability of skilled and efficient labor and resolving any labor issue.
• Coordinate with the team, conduct daily inspection and provide solution to problems.
• Raise RFIs as per ITPs and conduct final inspection with owner's representative
• Responsible in quality & workmanship of every activities through knowledge of all phase of engineering (Civil, Structural & Architecture).
• Planning, considering the budget and timeline to finish the project.
• Preparation of procedures, Quality plans, Method Statement, ITP and system procedures.
• Material take-off (civil, mechanical & electrical) that needed on site for procurement purposes.
• Presenting progress report or any findings of the project to manager.
• Travel extensively from site to office in order to facilitate the site progress, situation and priorities.
• Conduct testing & commissioning of the entire system.
Structural Inspection works such as:
• Conduct inspection of materials delivered on site based on the approved materials submittal by the client and consultant.
• Ensure all work is correctly prepared prior to any inspection being undertaken.
• Checking if implemented works are as per plans and based on specifications approved by the designer.
• Conduct inspection together with project management and client as per request by the construction team for rebars (spacing, diameter, splicing location and length, quality of rebars) and formworks (adequacy of scaffolds, elevations, plumbness of structures, squareness and layouts) prior casting of concrete.
• Checking workability of concrete through slump test prior to concrete pouring.
• Monitoring/witnessing materials testing.
• Review all inspection reports for compliance.
• Ensure that all inspection reports are accurate same with attachments.
• Attend management and technical meetings.
• Review specifications for compliance with good work practices and the clients contract specializations
• The issuance of nonconformance reports in conjunction with the site QC manager,
• Assist the Project manager and construction manager in resolving any discrepancies and uncertainties.
• Completion of QC site instructions and coordinate their closure.
• Compliance with the site's health and safety regulations
Architectural Inspection works such as:
• Checking layouts, alignments and embedded items upon CHB laying and plastering.
• Checking of tiles and ceiling layouts
• Punchlisting works
• Monitoring of Architectural Works
Paper works such:
• Preparation of cutting list
• Preparation of letters and documents.
• Review of plans
• Monitoring of materials.
• Preparation of work schedules
• Evaluation of Accomplishments, Billings and Change orders.
• Estimation Works.
- Conduct Inspection / Sampling in Industries, Establishments, Beaches and Rivers
- Conduct project Environment Monitoring and Audit Prioritization Scheme (PEMAPS)
- Prepare desk monitoring reports
- Prepare reports in beach watch & Sagip-ilog program sampling
- Evaluate self-monitoring reports (SMR) of all establishment with Environmental Compliance Certificate (ECC)
- Evaluate permit application documents (WDP / RA 9275)
