1. Carrying out routine checks and inspections on all heavy and light mining equipment.
2. Reporting all defects detected on service trucks for repairs.

1. Undertook diagnosis, repair, general and preventative maintenance works on:
- 988K and 992G wheel loaders
- CAT C10, C12, C13, C32, 3412, 3508, 3176, 3196 engines
- 16 and 14 series motor graders.
2. Assisted and coordinated the scheduling of equipment for servicing and repairs.
3. Maintained accurate and up-to-date service history and equipment logbook to help track all machines that had come in for maintenance and repairs in accordance with company policy and direction and also to assist in troubleshooting similar future faults.
4. Contributed to workshop and site safety as well as safety of colleagues through the observance of all safety instructions and rules.
1. Carried out scheduled general maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty machinery such as the - Atlas Copco D-262 drill
- Atlas Copco ST3.5 and Wagner underground Loaders
- 777 series dump trucks,
- D10R and D9N dozers,
- 245D and 325 excavators.
2. Carried out troubleshooting and diagnosis using manual and computerized testing systems to determine causes of sudden, intermittent or gradual breakdown of
machines.
3. Maintained workshop cleanliness, kept parts and tools accounted for and organized.
4. Assisted in the keeping of records (maintenance/activity log) which helped in keeping track of who did what work and why on all machines that came in for repair or maintenance works.
5. Ensured safe working environment for self and colleagues through safe site and workshop practices such as looking out for the use of PPE’s and placing movable tools in their right positions.
