Operator TMC Universa Duration: September 22, 2019 to Present JOB DESCRIPTION: Responsible for the eficient operations and maintenance of the assigned machine in order to ensure that output will pass the approved technical specifications; Controlling and adjusting the machine settings, parameters and desired quality level at optimum speed; Responsible for producing good converted tissues and do machine adjustment, if needed to achieve the desired quality product; Responsible for producing good quality packs of toilet tissue and kitchen towel tissue to achieve customer needs; Ensure to maintain the assigned machine in good running condition and do trouble shooting on problems encountered; Report machine breakdown to service department and give assistance in the preventive maintenance activities/ program of the assigned machine; Responsible for (CIL)cleaning, inspection and lubrication of the machine; Responsible for the change size/change settings of the machine such as machine parts and raw materials needed for the production; Make line clearance; Conducts proper turn-over - thus; communicating with the next shift operator and inform him for minor or major problems of the machine( if any) to facilitate smooth turn over of operations.
Location: Mussafah, Abu Dhabi Job Position: 2nd Machine Operator Duration: July 24, 2018 to August 31, 2019 JOB DESCRIPTION: Assist the 1 st Machine Operator in maintaining the machine in good running condition to optimize production, eficiency and quality; Responsible for the preparation of skinning, creping and cleaning blades for Yankee dryer; Ensure the availability of creping and cleaning blades all the time and do changes on creping and cleaning blades of Yankee if needed; Monitoring the roll on the pope reel to ensure that it is free from any defect; Coordinates with the 1 st machine operator to eject jumbo roles from pope reel and threads new one; Transferring jumbo rolls from machine to the area between the winder and the paper machine; Preparation of machine reports in between shifts regarding performance and conditions of the machine in order to facilitate smooth hand over of operations; Assists during shutdown activities such as change felt and wire, cleaning vacuum disk filters, chests, etc; Practitioner of Health, Safety and Environmental procedures and instructions.
