Projects and Responsibilities:
During my tenure as the Additional Chief Engineer for 27 Months, in Kota & Ajmer Regions, headed the team of Engineers and formulated 3 new projects, implemented & commissioned 4 projects. Held additional charge as the Chief Engineer in charge of the state funded Nagaur Lift Water Supply Project Phase I and JICA funded Rajasthan Rural Water Supply & Fluoride Mitigation project.
•Kota region: Managed water supply in 27 Towns and Rural habitations of districts- Kota, Bara, Bundi and Jhalawar.
Prepared Detailed Project Reports, obtained sanctions and commenced execution of 3 river based projects during August - October-2013. Apart from these 3 new projects, also in-charge of execution of 12 other projects. Guided implementation of the above 15 projects costing Rs.800 crore.
Completed and commissioned 3 Projects, viz., Rewa Project, Aklera & Manohar Thana Projects, costing (Rs. 70 crore), involving 9 pump houses, 16 Overhead Reservoirs, 138 km of 100-250 mm dia. DI Pipes, 60 kms of 63-140 mm dia. HDPE pipeline.
Also handled 8 ongoing river based water supply projects, having intake, WTP, pipe line, etc., as the major components, costing from Rs. 30 to 308 crore.
Implementation of the other 12 projects were also as per schedule.
•Ajmer Region: Worked as Additional Chief Engineer for Project Ajmer; In charge of Chambal Bhilwara Project of estimated cost of Rs.2857.73 crore.
Implemented 3 packages of Fluoride Control Project costing Rs. 143.52 crore, in Ajmer District to benefit 88 Villages and 142 Habitations, comprising 193 Ground Level Reservoirs, 3 Clear Water Reservoirs, 8 Pump houses, 54 Elevated Service Reservoirs and 454 km of DI Transmission Main.
Beawar- Jawaja Regional Water supply project to cater to 199 Villages and 390 other habitations costing Rs.247.82 crore. Involved in approval of survey & designs, etc., and commenced Execution of CWR, Pump Houses, ESRs, etc. This project comprises of 9 Pump houses, 539 Ground Level Reservoirs, 72 Elevated Service Reservoirs and 900 km of 250-350 mm dia pipeline. Projects and Responsibilities:
During my tenure as the Superintending Engineer for about 5 years, I was in charge of the drought stricken & water starved Pali & Jalore Districts and Churu in the Thar Desert, during difficult times.
•During the year 2008, it was a severe drought and rationed water supply was maintained to Pali town, by transporting raw water through road from Kharda dam & Baniyawas dam.
I worked as the head of the prestigious “Jawai Pipe Line Project” in Pali district. The project consist of Gravity mains of 18 Km of MS \[2000 mm dia.\] and 68 Km of GRP \[1500 to 1100 mm dia.\]. The project was timely completed in less than a year’s time, Jan-2009 and Pali town benefitted with Jawai water.
Apart from the above, a 450-300 mm dia GRP pipeline work of about 42 Km length was taken up as Phase-II project, between Mandli Tank Pali town and Rohit village and the work was completed in record time of 30 days, which enabled transmission of filtered water from Mandli (Pali) to Rohit, which enabled the people to survive in the summer.
•Worked in the District Jalore and Sirohi for 15 months and maintained water supply in Rural and Urban towns of the district.
In summer 2010 when Nakki Lake in Mt. Abu, the only Hill station in the state, was almost empty. Judiciously worked out the use of available water to not only maintain the water supply, but to continue the operation of Boating in lake, which is a major tourist attraction.
•Worked in the District Churu, which is the most difficult terrain in the desert and maintained water supply in Rural & Urban areas of the district through under Ground Water sources/ Tube wells and canal water.
•Worked as the Superintending Engineer In-charge of Narmada canal Based water supply projects in district Jalore and Barmer.
•Propagate of “under execution” work FR Project to supply water to 281 villages and Jalore town.
•Framed up, obtained sanctions and bring the DR project (Rs.218.34 crore) up to execution level to benefit 138 villages and Sanchore town district Jalore.
•Surveyed, conceived, obtained sanctions and bring the project (Rs. 160.00 crore) up to execution level to benefit 177 villages of Gudamalani Tehsil of District Barmer.
•Surveyed and conceived and prepare project report for sanction of ER project (Rs.455.16 crore) to benefit 256 villages and Bhinmal Town of district Jalore

implementing two mega water supply projects costing about Rs. 4, 100 crore, to cater to the water starved, fluoride affected 5 Million population in Nagaur District in the State of Rajasthan:
•Nagaur Lift Canal Project Phase-I:
Government of Rajasthan funded water supply project costing Rs.1, 194 crore through 4 packages to benefit 5 urban towns and 494 villages and to cater to a population of 15.50 lakhs of Nagaur district.
The Transmission package of the project comprises of 4, 800 ML Raw Water Reservoir, 74 MLD Water Treatment Plant, Raw Water Pumping station, 2 Clear Water Pumping Stations, MS Transmission Main of 57 km & SCADA, which have been completed and commissioned.
The 3 Cluster Distribution packages, comprise of Cluster Transmission Main \[DI\] for 1, 100 km, Distribution network of 2, 815 km and 140 Elevated Service Reservoirs & 20 Pump houses, of which one package is completed \[4 towns and 167 villages\] and the remaining two are in progress.
•Rajasthan Rural Water Supply & Fluorosis Mitigation Project \[Nagaur\]:
Japanese International Cooperation Agency \[JICA\] funded water supply project costing Rs.2, 938 crore through 10 packages to benefit 7 urban towns and 986 villages and to cater to a population of 34.33 lakhs of Nagaur district.
The project comprises of 5, 310 ML Raw Water Reservoir, 250 MLD Water Treatment Plant, Raw Water Pumping station, 11 Clear Water Pumping Stations, 477 km of Transmission Main \[1900 MS- 350 DI\] & SCADA, which are in progress and scheduled for commissioning in March 2018.
There are Cluster Transmission Main \[DI\] for 1, 966 km, Distribution network for 5, 904 km and 294 Elevated Service Reservoirs, 44 Pump houses and 33/6.6 kv & 33/0.4 kv GSS to be covered under six packages, of which two are in progress and the bidding process for the remaining four are in final stages.
The project includes the Fluoride Mitigation component that is being implemented through three pronged approach, viz., Health, School & Community approach, by engaging a NGO at a cost of Rs. 40.00 Crore.
As the Chief Engineer now and earlier as the Additional Chief Engineer in charge of this project, I handled the procurement for 8 of the 10 packages and I am responsible for the project planning and management of the consultancy and construction contracts. Held frequent discussions with JICA & Government and accelerated the Bidding under ICB & LCB, Evaluation and award of contracts to the tune of Rs. 2, 300 crore under 8 packages.
I played key role alongwith my Engineers & Consultants in approval of designs, obtaining the land & ROW required, approval of Vendors & QAP, etc., which enabled the execution to reach about 60% and sectional commissioning in mid - 2018 to cater about of 30% of population.
As part of inspection activities, visited China for inspection of MS sheets in Benxi and Bao Steel Plants in Feb. 2016
