Al Wakrah Psychiatric Hospital

Al Wakrah vision emphasizes the need to develop
and maintain a healthy population both physically
and mentally as part of Qatar National Vision
(QNV) 2030’s four pillars. The hospital consists of:
Out-put patients building, entrance building, drug
treatment, forensic, acute care, geriatric and
future expansion to accommodate up to 36 beds
using the standard care unit template.

Education
GEMS International School in Al Khail Road, Dubai,
UAE
Phase 1 - 2012 to 2013
The site for the international school is located along
Al Khail Road next to Al Quoz interchange. Plot
No.03 of four proposed sites and is approximately
30, 190SQ.M. The brief required a school of 2, 500
pupils in approximately GFA 26, 100SQ.M for the
school facilities and 19, 000SQ.M for external school
facilities. The program is divided into five main
clusters: Kindergarten, Primary schools, middle
school & diploma, sports facilities, dining and multi-
purpose hall - accordingly the clusters are
positioned to create courtyards which are
dissected by the main circulation spine.

completion in Dubai College under the supervision
of the project manager on this project.
