To improve skills as well as their ability to be comfortable in the swimming pool and with their instruction. (For some children, this may take a considerable amount of time.) Our swimming lessons for children with special needs teach the child how to swim using creative techniques and gentle methods. We understand that every child learns in a different manner. This is why the child will only be expected to learn at their own pace..And we want the experience to be FUN! Our goal is for the child to leave the pool area with a smile on their face and an eagerness to return..
Our curriculum focuses on each child’s individual needs and abilities.. the child comfort level in the water as well as their swimming ability will determine the skills that he/she will be working on.
•To help teach, coach students of all ages and abilities to develop swimming skills, techniques and confidence in the water
•Good Communicator
•Enthusiastic and positive attitude towards swimmers
•Perseverance and Patience
•Make sure safety standards are followed at all times
•Set ground rules for each sessions
•Identify swimmers abilities
•Plan and deliver sessions appropriate to the level of swimmers
•Clear demonstration, explanations swimming techniques
•Constantly updates, evaluations, feedback, attendance and progress report for each sessions
•To work along with lifeguard, Class teachers & PE teachers to help ensure that students are able to swim in a safe environment.
•To ensure the safety of the students at the swimming pool area by preventing and responding to emergencies.
•Entre and Exit scanning from top to bottom of the swimming pool
•Maintain constant surveillance and rescue techniques (5mins strategy)
•Act immediately and appropriate to secure safety in the event of emergency calmly and effectively
•Provides emergency care and treatments as required until the arrival of emergency medical services
•Present Professional appearance and attitudes at all times and maintain high standard of customer service
•Maintain Cleanliness and safe facility at all times
•Provide a written incident report as per necessary and prepare routine administrative paperworks
•Daily log in and log out on daily schedule of duties.
•Ensure emergency equipments, first aid kit and backboard are cleaned, complete and ready within your reach at all times. And
