My main responsibilities include: The design and preparation of engineering drawings, bills of quantities, cost estimates and programmers. I also assist the geotechnical team in the calculation’s material quantities of earthwork and dam construction. I lead a group of designers, draftsmen, quantity surveyors and junior engineers within the highway department.
• Planning and designing highway projects.
• Preliminary and Details of Geometric Design of Roads & Highways.
• Pavement designs and foundation
• Communication & Co-ordination with clients and project teams
• Estimation of Quantities (Earthwork, Pavement etc.) using Civil 3D
• Preparation of tender documents for construction
• Review and incorporation of client 's comments
• Project management and use of Project-wise
• Highway design and relevant utilities using BIM and Navias Work
• Preparation of cost estimate using Civil 3D
- Design of horizontal and vertical alignments of highways
• Planning of highways, residential roads and service roads
• Design of junctions, slip-roads, roundabouts, abutments and embankments
• Planning of grade-separation, pedestrians and cycle-paths.
• Estimation of Quantities (Earthwork, Pavement etc.) with civil 3D and Nova point
• Design of earthworks and road foundations
• Supervision of construction piling and pile tests
• Setting out and surveying for the tramp lines, roads and utilities.
• Production of cross section using GEO software
• Projects management of water engineering projects
• Construction supervision
• Review and implantation of client’s comments on design documents
• Surveying using theodolite and total station
• Instrumentation and monitoring of influence of earthwork on structures
