• Fabricate and repair parts of steam and gas turbines and pumps.
• Adjust and maintain clearance and interference of bearings, wear rings and etc.
• Align cutting tools and accessories onto machines.
• Operate overhead bridge crane and fork lift.
• Drilling in turbine shrouds all three stages.
• Overhauling of various pumps like boiler feed water pumps and acid pumps.
• Check completed workpieces for quality and ensure their lubrication.

• Measure dimensions of tools using instruments like vernier calipers and micrometer screw gauge.
• Align cutting tools and accessories onto machines.
• Produce machine tools using lathes and grinders as per specifications.
• Making spur, helical, bevel gears and chain sprockets, cutting spline and hexagon on milling.
• Examine machines for defective parts and dismantle machines.
• Responsible for assembling parts and fitting them.
• Check completed workpieces for quality and ensure their lubrication.

• Aligned and fitted machine parts to make machine tools by using different secure ways.
• Used instruments such as micrometers and vernier calipers for accurate measurement.
