My main role apart from teaching the 4th year Mbbs students the subject of Community Medicine/ Public health, I also to supervise the research projects of the students. I actively participate in schedule formulation and exams (paper setting). I also plan the Community field visits of the students. I do take tutorials and help my juniors to conduct practicals. With the kind help and supervision of my professors, I always get the chance to improve my both teaching and practical skills.
I work at my own private clinic as a general practitioner in the evening time. My main role is to diagnose, manage/refer cold general medical and general surgical cases. Being a consultant I always try to inculcate the preventive measures for both Non-communicable and Communicable diseases to my patient and also emphasize Primordial prevention of non-communicable diseases like Hypertension, heart diseases, or diabetes Mellitus.
Being a principal of Allied health sciences, I tried my level best to make the institute capable enough to be recognized for more than 5 diploma courses affiliated with Punjab Medical Faculty. Being a managerial role in the institute I made sure that the teaching and the evaluation of the students should be up to the mark by the facilitators. This led to producing good and sound technical staff which usually serves the same hospital that is Avicenna hospital Lahore, in the different departments.
Being an Assistant professor, I have taught the students the subject of community medicine via lectures, tutorials, and practicals. I have also taught and conducted the research proposals of the students along with the rest of the senior and junior fellows. During this tenure, I have conducted community field visits. My managerial role in the department was to maintain departmental documents, and formulating results and their academic records.
Being a senior demonstrator, I have conducted community practicals and community field visits. I helped my seniors in learning and conduct research projects for medical students. I lead the demonstrators while conducting the exams/ class tests, paper checking, and results in the formulation.
Being the most junior member of the department my main role was to help and facilitate my seniors in conducting practicals, Community field visits, paper checking, result formulation, and maintaining discipline in the department.
I did My M.Phil Community Medicine from the Institute of Public Health Lahore, which was affiliated with the University of Health Sciences Lahore. Community Medicine subject is the domain of Public Health.
It was a diploma in Public Health, which was a one-year whole program.
I did My MBBS at Lahore Medical and Dental College, which was affiliated with the university of Health sciences Lahore. The MBBS was 5 years Program, followed by a 1 year House Job (Clinical)
