• Coordinate company activities through the planning with departmental managers to insure the company objectives are accomplished in a timely and cost effective manner.
• Work closely with supply chain, production, quality to review product consistency while monitoring scrap rates to determine trends and areas of improvement.
• Review established production schedules for all related departments to insure established inventory levels are met while operating at the highest efficiency possible.
• Coordinate the hiring and training of all personnel.
• Implement cost effective systems of control over capital, operating expenditures and monitor and research ways to reduce costs while maintaining product quality.
• Work closely with the safety officer to ensure all members of the company are aware of safety policies to provide a safe workplace for our employees.
• Maintain and support a superior safety and housekeeping program, including all timely communication initiatives.
• Develop, control and execute the company profits, operating plans and budgets including growth strategies and targets.
• Conduct performance appraisals and provide direction, development and leadership by coaching and guidance to all employees.
• Encourage and promote all employees in a continuous improvement environment.
• Remove production constraints; allocate human and equipment resources and direct production employees to attain all established goals.
• Remove waste and constraints from the production process to improve efficiencies and enhance productivity.
• Communicate with research and development to develop new product strategies.
• Work with supply chain to develop and improve supplier relationships.
• Establish and monitor overall company performance for production and quality standards.
