• To manage all the commercial matters either Stock or Indent related to concerned departments
• To manage import and export matters that involve entire process of documentation from ordering of goods till shipment which includes;
• Establishment of LCs, order costing, duties and tax calculation, Project Cash flows, Forecasting
• Reviewing PDI reports, managing short shipments
• Conducting teleconferences with vendor for timely resolution of issues and smooth proceeding of orders
• Monitoring and looking after the activities of team members
• Recording and updating the order (stock and indent) related activities in ERP application
• Finalize stock and indent sales reports, as well as inventory reports for HOD and Management

• Ensuring efficient and timely processing of Export Payments within TAT / NOSTRO recon.
• Scrutiny of trade documents, LC scrutiny, FI issuance
• Reconciliation of ledger balances between branches and Trade Service Centre
• Responding to queries of branches and corporate RMs
• Processing and recording of export forward bookings
• Arranging buyers credit reports

• Route, assign and allocate trade business transactions to banks based on their prevailing facilities offered, pricing, response, adaptable services and commitments.
• Manage foreign exchange (FX) exposure after covering all aspect of trade business.
• Negotiation of FX rates with treasury of different banks with respect to market position.
• Retirement of LCs/ contracts documents
• Cash flow forecasting and planning.
• Hedging and looking after investment portfolio of the company. 08/2020 to 04/2021

• Opening of foreign and inland LCs and Bank Contracts.
• Retirement of LCs and contracts
• Negotiations of FX rates from bank treasuries.
• Taking central bank approval for certain payments.
• Maintaining financial cost and assisting reporting team

• LC opening according to UCP 600 and ISBP 745 of ICC publications and knowledge of Import Policy Order and SBP Foreign Exchange Manual, considerable knowledge of Pakistan Custom Tariff
• Issuance of Electronic import form through Weboc.
• Checking and scrutinizing of collection documents according to URC 522.
• Issuance of Shipping guarantees and delivery Orders.
• Registration and payments of import documents under LCs, collections and contracts.
• Open account dealings, import advance payments.
• Negotiations with treasury sales

• Issuance of EIFs through Weboc
• Payment of collection documents
• Open account and advance payment

• Export documents sent on collection basis
