Project Supervision Management for Development of Doha air Base Phase C (Qatar)(2020 to present)
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Coordinating, overseeing and signing all technical reviews relating to Architectural, structural and MEP Shop Drawings (34000) WMS, ITP, MAR, INR, STR, As-built, snagging, T&C, Handing over.
• Attending meetings with contractor and technical team of the Client.
• Review and approvals of Contractor monthly reports, IPAs, samples & Mock-ups, programme of works
Project Design Management for Development of Doha air Base Phase B (Qatar) (2019 to 2020)
• Independent Checking Engineer (ICE)
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Coordinating and overseeing all technical reviews relating to Architectural, structural and MEP
• Attending meetings with contractor and technical team of the Client
• Overseeing, checking and certifying of the Preliminary and Detail design of the Civil, MEP, Architectural and Utilities works for phase B prepared by the main consultant
• Making sure the Preliminary and Detail Design of the works are meeting the project Criteria and requirements of the main contract.
• Checking the main consultant’s design for the works against Client requirements, applicable local and international codes, standards and statutory requirements.
• Reviewing and checking works to provide formal certificates on the deliverables.
• Site visit if required to any works clarifications
Project Management for Doha Metro Underground (Qatar)
• Doha Metro Red Line South Underground QCDD approvals
• Doha Metro Green Line Underground QCDD approvals
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Overseeing the review and approval process of consultant team for the contractor documents relating to civil defence approvals, FLS, MEP
• Attending meetings with contractor, client and other stakholders
• Attending and leading QCDD Site inspections
• Overseeing the QCDD Compliance Report Responses
• Preparing and conveying to contractor QCDD required checking Lists.
• Attending Site QCDD inspection simulation activities
Panorama Residences and Suites project (Hilton)
• Client Representative for a high-end 5-star Panorama Residences and Suites project, a G+M+42 floors in Pearl, Qatar (to be operated by Hilton), as Project Manager/Client representative to manage a team of engineers to validate the existing Project Management team’s works at the site in order to investigate on the cause of the contractor’s variation claims and mitigate future possible additional conflicts.
• Our efforts resulted in the resolving of the conflict with the contractor by amending the contract to Design-Build type to the satisfaction of all stakeholders and replacing the existing project management team with a new one.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Reviewing the design drawings of the contractor
• Reviewing material submittals
• Conducting meetings with the new Project management team, Operator and the contractor
• Reviewing the FF&E tender
• Monitoring the progress of the works at site
• Highlighting critical issues which might cause delay to the project
• Reporting and providing recommendations to the client

Duties and Responsibilities;
• Managing Architectural design team for the preparation of the drawings from concept stage to construction stage, ensuring projects are functional, aesthetically pleasing, code compliant, completed within allocated period of time and within the budget that has been assigned, developing the master program, conducting coordination meetings between various disciplines involved in the project, monitoring all necessary applications for obtaining authorities approvals, conducting tender stage process, reviewing and evaluating construction bids and recommending appropriate actions to the client, frequent meetings with clients to assist them during design development process to achieve the project’s timeline, cost and value objectives. Sending periodical progress reports to the clients on the status of the works and obtain their comments/concerns.
In Project Management Team of the Sports City project assisting the Head of Architectural Department in reviewing consultant and contractor’s drawings for approvals, material approvals, preparing conceptual design drawings as per the Client expectations as a guide to consultants for their further Design Concept development as (Movenpick Hotel), designing for Client additional requests/modifications as Signage, Landscape Features, and Exercise elements along the jogging tracks.
Projects involved in; Khalifa Stadium, Aquatic Centre, Women’s Club and Sports Hall, The National Teams Club, Aspire Academy, Mosque, Aspetar Orthopaedic Hospital, Landscaped Areas.
Rehabilitation projects (Design-Build) for numerous Schools and Religious Administrative centers in Beirut. Consulting works for Engineering and Construction companies.
Establishing a design consultancy office, as directed by the Client, for the rehabilitation works of hotel Ivoire InterContinental project in Ivory Coast. Responsible primarily for rehabilitation works for the same hotel which comprises other than 14 floors of main hotel building and 25 floors of the tower, a Conference Hall Building, Ice Skating Rink Building with Bowling alley and a Casino Building. In addition to the initial scope, new rehabilitation works of Ivoire Golf Club and design of the conceptual urban planning of new 2000 Luxury villas including the villas conceptual designs for the capital city of Yamoussoukro were completed.
