Carry out Risk Assessments, with site managers, supervisors and employees identifying risks on site and identifying corrective actions
In support of the risk assessments, develop and write supporting Safe Working Procedure manuals that are issued to employees.
Assist Manager and Supervisors with day to day running of OHS on sites
Carry out EHS training to all Management and employees and when applicable carry out Incident Investigations, to identify the root cause, implement corrective actions and report finding to senior management.
Carry site inspections, ensuring the facilities are in a safe condition and identify corrective actions, when given identifying time frames and allocated responsibility.
Develop with the assitance of Senior management and site management Safety Plans that will target improvements for the facility
Carry out bi-annual site audits to ensure compliance.
Visit and meet Government representatives
Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality Manager in the high-risk Waste Electrical Electronic recycling industry based in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and certified auditor of our downstream vendors, ensuring compliance to our stabndards and operational procedures.
2016 - Present: Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality Manager (Holoul Recycling)
•Implemented ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 and Responsible Recycling (R2:2013) International Standards in both the Jeddah and Riyadh facilities, the first and only recycling facilities to be certified to these standards in Saudi Arabia.
•Working within the ISO 9001 Quality Standard, to be certified at the next recertification audit
•Written, prepared and present training programs for Senior Management, supervisors and employees in relation to all Health and Safety aspects, especially safety awareness, isolation of machinery and transport pedestrian integration and segregation
•Ensure identified Environmental aspects and impacts are monitored to ensure measures are compliant or exceed current legislative requirements
•Carry out internal audits on facilities to ensure high standards are being maintained and where necessary generate corrective actions, ensuring completion to the required standard
•Carry out Downstream Audits on potential and actual vendors who process, or handle Focus materials generated, by the company, ensuring correct techniques are used in disposal, re-processing or re-manufacturing.
•Review and update legislative compliance, ensuring the company is legally compliant within Saudi Arabia and International legislation that is applicable to the company (especially the Basel Convention on transboundary shipment)
