❖ Based in the service department leading well-trained GM technician
• Advice control tower administrator to distribute work among his team members Based on their abilities and
experiences.
• Monitor work performance of technicians and receive completed jobs of repair orders for checking and
approval.
• Use service manuals and electronic service information system, read technical and recall campaign bulletins and
convey them to the staff to overcome any difficulty in effecting repairs.
• Educate and instruct the staff in the proper usage of special tools and workshop equipments to come out with
good quality repairs and speedy completion.
• Maintain discipline among manpower that takes necessary measures to keep workshop tidy and clean as well as
customer’s car and company’s asset.
• Responsible of controlling team’s productivity to achieve company’s target by searching enough work at the
tower to minimize technician’s idle time.
• Authorize all spare parts requisition subject for the Manager’s approval on warranty and internal repairs only, to
limit the waste as much as possible, without affecting the quality.
• Submit reports regularly to superiors, concerning staff promotion, dismissals or other measures to be taken to
upgrade the performance standard.
