.Coordinates with the Resident Engineer and Contractors regarding design and documentation issues.
Preparation of construction contract correspondence with contractor(s), client and construction manager (if applicable).
Carry out inspections for approval of the works from piling stage to handing over the project like but not limited(structure work, finishing work, block work, plaster work, painting work, cladding work, aluminum work, joinery work, tile work, gypsum board work, interlock work, signage work, metal works, landscape work and very good experience with MEP works)
Review and action material, shop drawing, sample, mock-up etc. submittals.
Issue instructions to contractor for their action to comply with the construction contract time and quality requirements.
Action the Client's instructions to modify the works in consultation with the Head Office if involving change to the design.
Liaise with the Head Office designers and Statutory Authorities to resolve site queries.

o Issue to the client and SSH Head Office regular project progress reports.
o Review and process contractor payments and variation orders.
o Review and advises client on contractor claims.
o Issue substantial and final completion certificates. o Prepare HSSE reports for construction sites and
issue instructions to the contractor regarding them and submit them to the concerned authorities.
o Prepare and follow up snag lists.
o Review and approve operation and
maintenance manuals and as-built drawings.
o Drafts and prepares B.O.Q., Specifications and
Tender Documents
o Prepares item calculation, classification and
description to all quantified materials as per the drawing, and as described in the BOQ and Specifications.
o Issuance of tender documents such as B.O.Q, Tender Drawings, Tender Specifications and Contract Documents to contractors for bidding purposes.
o Responsible in responding to the contractor's tender queries in coordination with Engineering Team.
o Prepares comparison sheet and tender analysis of returned Tender Documents
o Develops recommendation of suitable contractors or sub-contractors to the client.
o Assists in Tender negotiations.
o Assists in awarding of contract.
o Handle and follow up with concerned authorities
like but not limited (Dubai South, Trakhees, DM)
