and propagation in the nursery, follow up on the maintenance and collection of plant mother stocks for the purpose of propagation; manage the plant supply for all Nakheel projects as required.
Assist in developing company standards, policies, procedures and act as part of a brain storming team on strategic landscape development and management.
Oversee the supervision of personnel, which includes work allocation,
training, and problem resolution; evaluate performance and make
recommendations for personnel actions.
Participate in the development of landscaping and grounds construction and maintenance plans; evaluate specifications, and make modifications as appropriate.
Research and development that assist in outsourcing technologies.
Assist in the selection of technical and professional contractors required for landscape projects and evaluate their pre-qualification.
Assist in generating Budget Cost Estimate of Hard and Soft landscape projects.
Review shop drawings, specifications, BOQ’s, and involve value added engineering. Make sure that the design is in line with the highest international standards of efficiency, feasibility and environmental resource conservation.
Advice on plant species particularly locally adapted species; horticulture and professional landscaping practices and all irrigation systems including the TSE irrigation water parameters.
Supervise and follow-up on the construction and maintenance of one reverse osmosis plant (RO Plant) for Jumeirah village site office.
Make field inspections/ auditing for landscape and irrigation work.
