estimate the dry cost of each contractual item in the Bill of quantities to get the final price including overhead &
profit.
Reviewing tender documents, specifications and design, then Prepare material take off for the project and
material submittals following specifications for approval, , conflicting or other technical matters that may arise
during construction. Evaluate offers and select appropriate vendor to maximize value and ensure optimal service
provision. Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain optimum quality, cost, and delivering terms,
Obtain quotations from local subcontractors and suppliers. Analyze price proposals, financial reports, and other
data and information to determine best prices. Prepare both technical and financial comparisons for review.
Prepare and process letters of intent, purchase orders and subcontracts for subcontractors and suppliers.
Prepare submittals for consultant’s and client’s approval in line with the selected vendor and as per the
department standards.
Preparation of tender pre-qualification documents, Ensures all relevant documentation for bid proposals is
complete and accurate., Responsible for internal and external interfaces during tender execution., Negotiating
tender and contract terms and conditions to meet both client and company needs., Make necessary engineering
calculations to support product selection/recommendation., Preparation of Materials Take off, Study the project
contract documents (Time schedule, Project design drawings, BOQ and Specs). And Contacting suppliers and get
offers for estimating.
