• Daily reporting of progress, non-compliance and delays in work to the Resident Engineer & Assistant Resident Engineer;

• I served as the Building and Structure Engineer for tunnels and underground stations;
• I was responsible for leading and providing guidance to a number of building and structure maintenance team leaders and subcontractors;
• Carry out all level of preventive and corrective maintenance activities and minor modification in building structure for stations and tunnels;
• My duties included planning and allocating resources to all aspect of maintenance activities on a day-to-day basis;
• Following the appropriate procedure and work instruction of maintenance to help ensure compliance to the requirements;
• Assisting subordinates with job familiarization and providing training and assessment where required.

• Coordinating Inspection Request with The Engineer/Supervising Consultant on receipt from the responsible site and system staff,
• Initiating logs and registers;
• Monitoring, investigating and inspecting repair works including chemical injections for leak repair, caulking where leakages are determined in tunnel segment joint.
• I was responsible for the familiarization with the contract scope of works, drawings and specification of the project.
• My duties included coordinating the gathering of material samples for testing, as required, and the testing of said materials,
• Monitoring and reporting the test result, and checking if they comply with the requirements;
• Inspection of installation and erection by Field Operations to help ensure compliance to the “Approved for Construction” contract drawing and specification;
• Inspecting the quality of work done is in compliance to the contract drawings and specification and for the purpose of progress billing evaluation.
• As Quality Control personnel, I was given the authority to stop a portion or part of ongoing works in case of non-compliance to the plans and specification as well as reject materials delivery in case of non-compliance and/or lack of document to support the material test inspection requirement.
