• As an individual contributor I lead projects on thematic research alongside front office traders in various structured finance asset classes like ABS, RMBS, CMBS. I am also working on hiring a CLO and Agency MBS analyst for my team.
• Performing secondary research via literature review, preparing sector and thematic commentaries.
• Performing security level analysis primarily focused on performance and waterfall modeling to understand cashflow allocation and litigation related updates.
• I collaborate with Investor relations, Dev and other groups across the firm to spearhead various enhancements to our portfolio monitoring and reporting infrastructure. I closely work with IR in preparing marketing documents and presentations for funding.
• As a team, we manage more than 90 recurring surveillance processes with no reported slippages over the last year.
• As a senior manager, I am responsible to plan and oversee project execution and delivery. I closely work with the team in reviewing processes and functions to generate efficiency by bringing to the table automation and enhancement ideas.
• Stakeholder management - we have expanded our scope to provide analytics, modeling, underwriting and asset management capabilities alongside core research function from India office.
• My team and I also act as business analysts and liaison between the trading desk and developers. We help tech team with domain expertise and process flow to help facilitate the development of web tools and models.
• I am self-taught in Microsoft PowerBI and SQL, both basic. This has given me the ability to create a MIS dashboards with no reliance on excel and IT.
• I currently lead a team with multiple skillsets like data research and transformation, analytics, cash flow modeling and underwriting.
• Spearhead securities research initiatives involving security pricing, cashflow modeling, secondary research.
• Model bonds and cashflows via IntexCalc for bond trade related projects.
• Work closely with the trading desk in coming up with assumptions to price securities and enhance modeling infrastructure to price bonds in bulk.
• Work on data transformation project as a part of secondary research exercise to facilitate data driven approach of predicting market moves.
• Lead a team of analytics and research associates on various statistical modeling, qualitative research and sector commentary related projects.
• Lead projects involving collaboration across groups and senior management to prepare investor relations related reports, prepare risk committee presentations, work with dev teams for trading and reporting infra development.
• Perform reconciliation of European NPL deals’ servicer data feeds against associated accounting transactions.
• Follow up with external asset servicers and resolve monthly data feed mismatches. Collaborate with internal teams on reporting issues and resolving monthly mismatches.
• Provide support for Investor relations and Performance related data reporting.
• Support for verification of recoveries and performance reports for portfolio management.
• Work with front office traders to procure and organize data tapes, business plan targets, and deal documents for new and existing deal trades.

• Liaison with Front office traders and provide operational support for any and all asset management and new trade related activities.
• Manage secondary research using Bloomberg and other data sources like Factiva, Reuters and Capital IQ Database maintenance.
