• Preparation of the complete documentation for Letter of Credit (LC Documents)
• Documentation of CFR/CIF/FOB Shipments for distribution channel of around 26 countries across the world.
• Taking best quotations from the shipping and freight forwarding Companies for Land and sea shipments.
• Work on Dubai trade software making inbound/outbound/BOE, Export Declarations from E-Mirsal II for
Dubai Customs and documentation.
• Following up with the customer till the shipment reaches to the destination and clearance of the shipment.
• Planning and managing logistics, transportation and customer services
• Strategically plan and manage logistics, transportation and customer services
• Completing and filing compliance documentation for export and supply chain security
• Sending shipment instructions to forwarders, checking of B/L draft and confirmation of the same.
• Maintains tracking record and following up on order status, updating and establishing shipping information in
close contact with Forwarders/Shippers.
• Ensures the timely and accurate reporting to management regarding logistics related activities.
• Responsible for checking, monitoring and execution of shipments to all destinations from planning, material
loading, to timely dispatching of shipping documents to end clients.
• Responsible for all export shipments. The Complete process from placing an order till goods clearance.
• Interact with other departments to integrate logistics with business systems and processes, such as marketing,
sales, accounting, and purchase and also enables the timely delivery of goods from the suppliers.
• Responsible for business communication and strategic interaction with a spectrum of clients that enables to get
timely approvals on Draft Bill of Lading & other related shipping documents.
• Act as a deputy logistics in-charge in the absence of Supply Chain/Logistics manager.
Rolls & Responsibilities: -
• Executing daily customs clearance for inbound and outbound consignments. Strong working knowledge of
documentation requirements on import and export,
• i.e, Statistical Declaration, Certificate of Origin, Health Certificate, Customs Inspection Handling, Invoice &
Packing list
• Liaise with shipping lines for booking of shipments and price request.
• Inquire and send quotations of products according to customer requirements. Plan, track and trace shipment to
ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Religiously update shipment information in database. Check and verify documents sent by suppliers.
Review and verify bills, invoice and purchase orders.
