Responsibilities:

• Responsible for overseeing a team of Electrical & Mechanical Team for planning and leading the daily activities of a team that is carrying out electrical installation of Equipment Earthing (Indoor & Outdoor), cable ladder, cable pulling for HV, MV, control cables with termination, control panels GIS, power transformer and power systems for various machine and systems.

Duties:

• Supervising electrical staff and coordinating the daily activities of the electrical department.
• Preparation of As-Built Drawings
• Scheduling work to be done for the day.
• Working with contractors to complete projects on time.
• Ensure the erection activites are in line with project time table.
• Dealing with any technical issues that may arise.
• Making sure that safe working practices and maintained all of times.
• Snagging and Preparation of Punch lists of items for corrective actions
• Conducting site surveys, audits and inspections.
• Keeping the files/Inspection Records always updated.
• To prepare daily progress report and submit to site team

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Autocad Layout/Section view drawing of high voltage from 11kv to 440v.
• Reading electrical design specification and technical drawings.
• Preparation of Electrical Installation, testing & commissioning of high voltage.
• Preparing cable schedule for industries equipment wiring.
• Attending meetings to solve any technical & site issues.
• Approval drawing from TNEB(Tamil Nadu Electricity Board)

Duties:

• Monitor electrical activities at site with regards to specifications and standards.
• Monitor the project progress & report to manager.
• Preparing request for inspection of work (RIW’s)
• Planning and allotment of work at site.
• Preparing request for material inspection (MIR’s)
• Monitor electrical equipment erection activity according to procedures.
• Installation of 2500 KVA Distribution Transformer, 11kv Vaccum circuit breaker, Oil circuit breaker, 440v Air circuit breaker, cables pulling, cable trays, light fixtures, breakers, main switchboard etc.
• Responsible for preparation of Method of Statement (MS), Inspection Test plan (ITP) for the site work and submit to consultant for review and Approval
• Manage work progress as per schedule & project milestones.
• Co-ordination of all construction related works with the client, other sub-contractors and Consultant
• Keeping the files/Inspection Records always updated.
• Verification of Cable Schedules & Cable Sizing Calculation.
• Verification of Panel GA’s.
• Verification of Termination Chart/Reports.
