Managing and controlling all aspects concerning MTN local interconnection partners and international carriers for both SMS and voice. This is covering but not limited to the following actvities:
•Periodically monitoring and revision of existing interconnect agreements.
•Achieving the company targets related to increasing the revenues and optimizing the cost of the international business.
•Continuous monitoring, analysis and reporting (on daily basis) of interconnect and carriers traffic, revenue & cost behaviours and initiation of necessary actions.
•Close monitoring of interconnect and carriers prices and quality. Negotiate with all international voice carriers to make sure to get the best quality with the least possible prices.
•Ensure timely interconnect partners & Carriers billing, reconciliation, settlement, and payment and keep track and records of related documents.
•Handling the disputes in connection with interconnect partners & carriers, analyzing the Call Detail Records (CDRs) to ascertain invoice correctness with the RA and IT teams.
•Liaise internally and externally, to ensure that all interconnect partners & Carriers are billed accurately and timely.
•Interconnect & Carrier services problems resolution and escalation.
•Continuous monitoring, analysis and reporting of the utilization of the international capacities taking the appropriate actions when needed.
•Making sure that the company has SLA agreements with different partners and applying these SLAs when needed.
•Identify new interconnect opportunities in the market for revenue maximization and cost optimization.
•Development of new products and services.
•Study the interconnect proposals and requirements in detail and prepare detail costing, detailed MoUs, interconnect agreements and the project implementation plans.
•Develope interconnect and carrier services operation plans, processes and procedures.
•Perform roaming, interconnection, and transmission managemnet activities when needed.
•Performs Ad-Hoc duties as assigned by management.
BSC sites commissioning, integration and maintenance.
•BSC extension and reduction work - BSC offline and online tests - Atermux configuration, put on service & maintenance.
•TC boards commissing for new Atermux connections.
•New sites (BTS) creation (software), cabeling, putting on service, preventative maintenance, routine maintenance, expansions, upgrades, troubleshooting and repairs,
•Responsible for fault and performance management of BSS network elements.
