• Assist the development team in preparing and reviewing CAPEX and OPEX cost estimates for solar and battery energy storage projects.
• Support strategic sourcing and manage the RFP/RFQ process for procuring engineering services, equipment, materials, and construction contracts.

• Monitoring the operation of power generation equipment to ensure that it operates within the desired specifications.
• Conducting routine inspections and maintenance of plant equipment to prevent failures and ensure maximum efficiency.
• Implementing upgrades and modifications to existing systems to improve performance and reduce environmental impact.
• Coordinating with other technical staff and management to discuss and strategize plant operations.
• Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations pertaining to safety and environmental protection.
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the power plant, including monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting of equipment and systems.

• Manage the daily operations of the maintenance department ensuring compliance, safety, and best practices for corrective and preventative maintenance procedures are followed including accurate completion of the preventative maintenance program.
• Oversee Maintenance by tracking work hours, maintaining work orders for all maintenance/project work, managing material purchases used in maintenance/project work, and working with the Accounting department to ensure all work is billed correctly.
• Analyze, diagnose, and recommend correction for Company and Customer equipment problems and breakdowns, including conveyor system and forklift fleet.
• Establish, implement, train, and monitor maintenance guidelines for the maintenance teams, including safety on the job and preventative maintenance.
• Complete quality audits of technician work tasks and communicate results.
• Identify and propose improvements to any equipment, systems, or robotics to improve production and operations.
• Acquire bids from, and manage, vendors and suppliers, including building and grounds maintenance and improvement vendors.
• Create a culture of safety by educating employees on safety standards and expectations and the safe operation of equipment.
• Advise leadership team on safety compliance concerns and required preventative actions.
• Modifications to existing controls for improved process control, reliability, safety and compliance with OSHA requirements.

• Fault diagnosis, troubleshooting, work planning, and organizing abilities are highly skilled.
• Design or coordinate design of photovoltaic (PV) or solar thermal systems, including system components, for residential and commercial buildings.
• Performing evaluations of sub- contractors' facilities to determine their capabilities in meeting the quality requirements.
• Solar Engineer experience in planning, designing and analysing, installation, troubleshooting, maintenance solar energy systems. Proven track record in solar energy project management.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, specifically within the solar or renewable energy industry.
• Undertake electrical PPM, inspection testing, commissioning and basic repairs to plant and equipment.
• Perform corrective and planned maintenance tasks and ensure the correct closure of works orders i.e. PMs and CMs from MERPs including Safety and Quality Critical maintenance tasks, completion of resulting actions from deviations, Safety ZAP accident/incident investigations and breakdown/equipment performance issues.

• Mentoring preparation and control of project quality system management documentation prior to project/ Activity commencement.
• Thorough understanding of the station’s electrical systems including, HV, MV generator, excitation, LV switchgear, motors, transformers, On load tap changers, actuators, UPS & DC, solar power, maintenance, and another control system, plant & workshop apparatus.
• Vigilant approach to personal and plant safety is a must with the ability to implement the safety practices/procedures.
• Theoretical background in Power System Analysis, Transmission/ Distribution, and Generation systems (especially Load Flow Studies, Transient Stability Studies, Short Circuit, and power quality Studies).
• It includes LV motors bearing replacement and overhaul, 6KV VCB and 380V ACB inspection and overhaul, transformers loop testing, ground resistance measurement, Insulation resistance measurement, and winding resistance measurements.
• Review and analysis all MEP drawing materials, Schedules/programs of work, inspection, mointoring, and planning.
• Hands-on experience in all maintenance including testing on electrical equipment including EHV, HV, LV switchgear, transformers, motors, and generators.
• Experience in secondary injection testing of transmission lines, motors generators, and transformers relays will be a plus.
• Development and review of the project Quality Program documentation manuals, work processes and reporting of quality records to project management of quality documents.
