• Monitor power plant equipment and inductors to detect evidence of operating problems.
• Operator and control electrical equipment such as turbines, pumps, control panels, generators, transformers, switchgear, pumps, fans, compressors, condensers, feed water heaters, filters, and chlorinators, to supply water, fuel, lubricants, air, and auxiliary power.
• Receive outage calls and request necessary personnel during power outages or emergencies.
• Inspect records or log book entries or communicate with plant personnel to assess equipment operating status.
• Place standby emergency electrical generators on-line in emergencies and monitor the temperature, output, and lubrication of the system.
• Operating various controls to switch on and off current supply to different feeder units.
• Read and interpret technical manuals and schematics to understand equipment and diagnose problems.
• Monitor meters, gauges and control boards to verify operational parameters, and make adjustments to distribution, voltage, current,
frequency, power factor, electrical flow rate, etc.
• Follow all relevant safety protocols and legal codes to ensure proper operation of equipment and minimize risk of damage to property and
personnel.

Responsible to coordinate/enhance timely liaison with Director Admin, Director Coordination, Admin Officer & MEPCO officials to ensure uninterrupted electricity supply to the institute.
To ensure efficient supervision of ISP Electricity Feeder, 11KV 440V distribution system & 11KV electric supply Lines.
To make sure supervision/maintenance of transformers, distribution system faults, panels, circuits, Energy back up (Generator system), air
conditioning system, and its timely rectification.
To ensure preventive and breakdown maintenance.
Ensures stable electrical supply by maintaining equipment and outlets, including an energy management system for prototyping and assembly
systems, lighting and security apparatus.
Provides power and connectivity to workstations and offices by studying blueprints, running electrical wiring for common and dedicated electrical outlets and fixtures, and providing raceways for telephone and fiber communication.
Supports engineering needs by responding to service requests for
mechanical and electrical problems.
Ensures compliance with all applicable codes and regulations and advises senior management on requirements.
Maintains materials and equipment supplies by regularly monitoring inventory levels, anticipating supply needs, placing and expediting
electrical material orders and reviewing and approving invoices.
Preserves equipment in good working order by following operating instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, keeping supplies on hand,
regularly performing preventive maintenance, and promptly scheduling repairs.
Coordinate maintenance activities on all electrical wiring and systems.
Implement energy-efficient schedules and technologies.
Work with service providers to implement service systems.
Oversee scheduling and unscheduled maintenance, including
emergency or incident response.
Define and implement safety standers meeting regulations for electrical wiring
See and observe Starting Sequence of the Combine Cycle in the Power Plant.
Controlled and maintained auxiliary equipment, such as fans, (LP, HP) pumps, compressors, deaerator, feed water pump, induction motor, shaft
vibration of the generator, and condensers.
Performed preventative maintenance on plant equipment.
Check and change the oil of the generator bearing.
Check and repair tunnel fault and NGR resistance level.
Both practical as well as theoretical knowledge of different Electrical Instruments.
Enthusiastic professional Engineer with strong analytical skills.
Work well within teams, alone and under pressure.
The theoretical background of Power System Analysis, Transmission/ Distribution, and Generation systems (especially Load Flow Studies,
Transient Stability Studies, Short Circuit Studies, and power quality Studies).
Electrical Power & Control Experience.
Must get knowledge of geography, Pakistan's Grid systems including NTDC, and all the Power Generation Plants and Industries.
