Performed hydro-climatological studies of Ardaita-Gonde-Iteya-Ghibe-Chagni and Tamashalo irrigation projects:- By applying rainfall-runoff model analysis, maximum and minimum flood estimation of Ghibe River and designed flood protection dyke for Ghibe irrigation farm, applied rainfall frequency analysis and flood frequency analysis for Tamashallo irrigation project, designed flood protection dyke for Logia River to protect the Water distribution Tanker for Logia Town, performed rainfall analysis and hydrological studies for Chagni irrigation weir design, performed recharge estimation for Ardait and Gonde-Iteya irrigation projects by WATBAL, Base flow separation methods. Prepared hydrological study proposals and inception reports. Designed and modelled flood protection mechanisms using AUTOCAD, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS and Other Engineering Software, to be efficient, and appropriate to the local conditions of the study project;

Positions held: Hydrogeologist, Supervisor & Coordinator and
Investigator.
Activities performed. Hydrogeological & Geophysical field
survey, Preparation preliminary Hydro geological maps and
reports preparation. Supervision for water well drilling and
coordination of drilling crew as drilling superintendent.
Preparing recommendations on the procedures of exploitation
of bore holes, and installation of pumps according to the
pumps capacity and borehole yields. Preparation of price
quotation for drilling and construction of boreholes payment
certificate and production of as-built well completion reports.
Performed hydrogeological, geomorphic, and groundwater
exploratory studies and wells siting and came up with good
result for Decheto-Galafi to Balho Road project water supply.
Technical Proposal Preparations for different projects,
Specifications and Bill of Quantity preparations, Well Design
and Bid Document Preparations have been done. Worked as a
Supervisor and Coordinator for Teru and Chifra Groundwater
Evaluation Project, by coordinating different sites, wells sitting,
lithologic descriptions, Mud property measurement and
chemical identifications, Conducting Casing arrangements and
installations, Checking contractor’s equipment’s, Well head
constructions, well logging, BH camera, Pumping Test and
Preparing well completion reports and daily activity logging &
reporting and other activities etc.
