A newly founded agency in Qatar that focuses mainly on digital marketing and rights
management. My role included but was not limited to:
- Signing and retaining new clients ranging from businesses and influencers.
- Creating proposals and briefs for clients and circulating them within the agency.
- Creating internal communications documents such as shoot briefs, design briefs and
campaign briefs to be used within the company.
Developing and implementing strategies and campaigns for clients such a Doha
Festival City Mall, Tarsheed, Al-Fardan Medical Northwestern Medicine, Baladna, SASOL
and TASMU.
- Linking the client to the agency by communicating all briefs and requests to the rest of
the Ogilvy team, while working closely with the creative department to exceed our
client’s expectation.
- Maintaining work structure by upholding all HR policies and procedures and making sure they were implemented throughout the company.
- Recruitment and selection for all employees that were being hired for hospitality services.
- Employee performance appraisals, grievances and personnel issues.
- Managed 4 accounts ranging from beauty salons and malls to drug store
distributors and restaurants.
- This included creating event concepts and campaigns offline and supporting them online
while also handling the social media accounts of the client.
- Liaising with 3rd
party suppliers was also a daily task, as the agency outsourced often.
Management training period that consisted of all components in the HR department such as leave requests, immigration documents, company policies, HACCP regulations, labor laws and payroll.
A management placement as head catering manager for Stenden Hotel; which included the
hotels catering for MICE, Stenden Cafeteria, Stenden Cafe and all catering sent to the university
Cross training in the following departments: F&B, Kitchen, Front Office, Guest Services, Laundry and Human Resources.
