I am working in the Ministry of Defense (MOD) Kuwait project. My responsibilities in this project are as follows.
• Configuring and maintaining all Cisco multimedia devices like Cisco DX80, Cisco IP Phones Cisco ATA Fax.
• Managing all these devices through Cisco Unified Communication Administration (CUCM).
• Managing Core routers, Core switches, and Edge switches in all remote locations in this project.
• Monitoring all Network Devices through the Cisco Prime Infrastructure platform.
• Monitoring logs, alarms, events, incidents and resolving the issues immediately.
• Troubleshooting network issues remotely.
• Maintaining Quarterly maintenance reports for all network devices and Endpoint devices.
• Configuring and maintaining security policies in the firewall.
• Performing Periodic testing on all devices and preparing reports on them.
• Monitoring all kinds of Logs using LogRhythm Application.
• Attending International meetings with concerned officers and reporting them about the project.
• Documentation of issue reports and maintaining them to improve the security posture of the network.
1.Internal Network Implementation & maintenance.
2.Configuring VPN and Firewall rules.
3.Monitoring & troubleshooting FortiGate Firewall.
Configuring firewalls, designing and deploying security policy, managing rules-based policies, administrating accounts, setting up the permissions and access, creating reports using reporting module and analyzing network traffic, troubleshooting all the firewall problems
4.Deploying and maintaining the LAN and WAN infrastructure.
5.IP, TCP, MAC, TMAC, STP, VTP, DTP, MSTP, RSTP, RIP, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, IPSEC, GRE, site-site VPN, DM-VPN, SNMP, DHCP, DHCPv6, LAN Technologies, WAN Technologies.
6.Content filtering, Web Filtering, NAT, PAT, Redirect NAT.
7.Planning, designing, installing and configuring, upgrading, maintaining LAN, as per organizational requirements, governed by communication protocols.
8.Troubleshooting networking problems to ensure minimum downtime & maximum availability of the network.
9.Maintaining all IT devices as per the requirements within the schedule.
10.Installing and configuring all IT devices (Wire/Wireless).
11.Maintaining google G-suit & yahoo business mail hosting.
12.Monitoring the entire network and Updating software patches.
13.Installation and maintenance of Client-Server Operating systems i.e., Windows Server 2012, 2016.
14.Locking and unlocking the user's accounts in the production network.
15.Remote PC or Network troubleshooting of all national and international staff.
16.Maintain a good relationship with customers and higher management.
17.Handling periodic backups.
18.Configuring and troubleshooting Network/Local printers.
19.Configuring and maintaining HID & Biometrics security systems.
20.Maintaining day-to-day activities of Helpdesk.
