Job Responsibilities:
- Preparation of Project Charter according to indicate project’s milestones, essential design details, stakeholders and budgets
- Monitor Front End Engineering Design (FEED) documents by maintaining Document Deliverable
Register (DDR) and to assess complete design of the projects
- Tracking of Kit of Material (KOM) to secure basic data of equipment’s procurement using KOM Tracker
- Preparation of Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) for all production activities according to assigned budgets in the project charter for all projects
- Labor estimation and scheduling of shipbuilding construction orders
- Issuance of Work Order Sheet (WOS) on the basis of processes and man-hours planned for production
activities using Project’s Schedule
- Controlling, monitoring, and managing the processes from the beginning of the production i.e. from the steel plate to the construction of the ship
- Monitor and revise Project’s Schedule for each project according to construction activities
- Schedule Across the Board Review (ABR) to prepare for Project Review
- Implementation of overall EPC approach to hand over Turnkey Project to the client
- Implementation of Earned Value Management System (EVMS) in shops to identify productive earning with respect to burned hours
- Preparation of Weekly EVM report to show cumulative productivity, planned work, earned work, burned hours and in-hand work of each shipbuilding’s shop
- Preparation of documents and other requirements for both internal and external audits
- Co-ordination with Managers/Shop In-charges on critical issues pertaining to Design/Production and
review of drawings for issuing for production
- Progress Monitoring of WOS is carried out to report all delays in production activities to the concerned Managers / Shop In-charges for taking remedial measures
- To ensure the implementation of corrective action, suggestion, recommendations pointed out by auditors during internal/external audits in order to increase the effectiveness & efficiency of production activities.
- To identify the need and apply suitable methods and statistical techniques required for improving and controlling the quality of work
- Arranging the final inspection of works/jobs by Quality Control personnel and check design errors are reviewed/discussed with the concerned design department and organize the Project Review meeting with the concerned personnel
- Ensuring the streamline of construction activities in all its phases through efficient communication with concerned departments i.e. Quality Control, Procurement / Stores, Safety, Admin, etc.
Teach Mathematics and Physics to Secondary and High School students including O-Level and A-Level maths.
- Create CAD models using Solidworks and Autocad.
- Prepare design documents for review and comments.
- Compile a research thesis titled “Analysis of Safety Culture Perception among Engineering Students in Academic Laboratories” for M.Phil. Occupational Health & Safety. -Did Noise Monitoring at Different Railway Crossing Lines of Lahore City project.
