MAINTENANCE RESPONSIBILITIES IN RAW MILL AND CEMENT MILL FROM 11-2016 UPTO 07-2019
1-Provide guidance to technician and trades helpers
in the repair, maintenance and installation of plant
equipment like(pumps, fans, air slide, bag filter, belt conveyors, bucket elevators, mill nozzle, roller press
bearing, atlas copco compressor ZR250 VSD, etc) including daily process problem solving and measurement activities of(bucket elevator
elongation and wear out, alignment measurement, vibration measurement, nitrogen cylinder of roller
press measurement and gap measurement, bearing clearance measurement, etc) that enable continuous
plant operations.
2-Ensure the operational viability of the plant by evaluating and maintaining the proper functioning of all plant equipment.
3-Manage costs and maintain records of the costs to contribute to the cost-efficient operation of the plant.
4-Review design of equipments installations and be responsible for maintenance to provide for continuous availability for operations.
5-Establish and maintain communication with suppliers, contractors, and engineering firms outside of the company as well as with other technical plant personnel to ensure the necessary components are in
place to complete maintenance projects in a timely, cost-effective, and efficient manner.
6-Participate in the daily coordination meeting to review corrective work orders, inspection reports and
incidents and assist in the planning of maintenance work.
7-Performs other duties related to preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance as may be
assigned.
8-Record some possible anomalies observed on the equipment during maintenance or inspection.
9-Monitor the time requirements for each job and the optimal manpower and skills necessary for
executing jobs.
10-Responsible for scheduled inspection of tools and tackles (including safety tools and tackles) and
ensuring that these are in optimal condition of safe use.
11-Performs, cooperates and coordinates with other duties as required or directed by Chief Engineer or
Head of department.
12-Ensure that proper safety measures are being adhered to at all times by all personnel.
13-Responsible for recording of daily job
activities.
14-Manage people working under me.
15-Monitor job duration, cost and performance
of crew.
16-Recommend improvements for cost reductions.
17-Respond to emergency repair needs.
18-Supervise the trial of equipment after maintenance.
19-Ensure productive use of the crew.
20-Specify work procedures if required.
21-Monitor and controls overtime.
22-Ensure safe storage and disposal of replaced spares.
23-Doing the technical evaluation for the spare part provided from different suppliers.
UTILITY MAINTENANCE RESPONSIBILITIES FROM 07-2019 UPTO NOW
1-(Ro)plant and water treatment maintenance, membrane replacement, pump seal replacement, borewell submersible pump installation, new pipe line installation PVC+GI, chemical dosing pump repairing, els.
2-Doing the service plan maintenance of Every 2000hrs, 8000hrs of Atlas Copco compressor .
3-Daily mentoring records of Atlas Copco compressor in the plant ZR250 VSD/FF and GA11and GA5 .
4-Replacement of the high compressor element and low compressor element.
5- Replacement of the damaged oill cooler
6-Condenser drain of aftercooler, intercooler cleaning if it is jammed.
7- Cleaning the loading and unloading solenoid valve if it is jammed.
8-Maintain the spare part list for the compressor, Root blowers, RO Plant, pumps, els.
9-Doing the preventive maintenance of the compressors .
10- Doing the maintenance of the circulation water supply pumps of all the compressors els.
11_IMD motor replacement els.
