Responsibility for the Construction - MEP interest of the Project.
• Support Currie & Brown HSE managers with daily and weekly health & safety
inspections of all high-risk activities to ensure compliance with RAMS and Permits to
Work.
• Monitor construction site works to ensure works are being carried out to the required
standard. with minimum risk to people, equipment, hazardous materials, and all other
materials.
• Regularly monitor that Project procedures and site rules and other instructions are
being complied with.
• Implement daily and weekly co-ordination arrangements with the Contractor and
Consultant to ensure any matters affecting progress are identified and addressed
timeously.
• Compile and contribute to daily (KPI), weekly (Dashboards) and Monthly (Progress)
Reports, for issue to the Employer
• Provide specialist input / commentary on Contractor programme and installation
proposals for Electrical and Low Current Works
• Participate in detailed management review and inspection regime for Contractor
Testing and Commissioning Strategy.
• Provide management leadership and support to Employer and Consultant staff.
• Chair and minute technical and progress review meetings, as required.
Meeting with clients to discuss their technical and engineering needs.
• Conducting site visits and researching technical processes.
• Preparing weekly status reports.
• Project managing the implementation of technical solutions.
• Supervising the daily work of maintenance and operation of the contractors.
• Evaluating the readiness and the safety of schools
Verifying services by testing circuits, equipment, alarms, and identifying corrective
action or escalating the problems to the engineering department.
• Document network by labelling and routing equipment and cables, also recording
configuration diagrams and specifications.
• Maintaining safe work environment by following codes, standards, and legal
regulations.
• Prepare weekly and monthly status reports.
