Ensure process parameters for electroplating and powder coating processes are in line.
Ensure proper running of effluent treatment plant and RO plant.
Ensure ETP and RO effluent parameters meet the set limits for discarding and reuse respectively.
Troubleshoots any problem concerning test lab operations, electroplating, powder coating and industrial waste water treatment.
Ensure proper chemical handling, storage and disposal according to local regulation.
Actively participates in quality improvement systems.
EMS, QMS and OHSAS internal auditing.
Prepares and setting up laboratory exercises, demonstrations and instructional materials, monitors laboratory environment, organizes, arrange, stocks and distributes materials, equipment and supplies.
Provides instructional support services for the chemistry program, instructional demonstration of procedures and techniques; explain related principles, practices, procedure, methods, materials, including lab solutions and reagents.
Maintains accurate logs, reports and records of work performed and materials and equipment used
Monitors, orders, receives, stores and maintains adequate inventory levels of supplies and equipment as directed.
Ensure proper chemical handling, storage and disposal.
Submits work orders for maintenance and repair of equipment and facilities.

Responsibilities.
Operate pilot plants for waste water treatment.
Analytical test of the feed and permeate for organic and inorganic elements.
Chemical injection surveillance, including monitoring of chemical injection pumps, maintaining chemical pump function, inventory reporting and ordering.
Perform Plant costing.
Perform the energy and mass balance on the system.
Sample collection and analysis.
Report of analysis results to the Laboratory Manager.
Provide process optimization support as required.
Hazard identification and trouble shoot process upsets.
Perform environmental management processes and waste management.
.Design, built up and operate pilot plants for. waste water treatment.
