Responsibilities & Duties: Include but not limited to:
Governance:
• Establish the PMO role and create a Center of Excellence in alignment with Project Management Institute (PMI) guidelines, quality standards and company requirements.
• Seek implementation efficiencies to meet or exceed the financial expectations established at project initiation.
• Develop, implement, and govern program management processes, dashboards, templates, policies, and metrics.
• Monitor compliance with project policies and standards.
• Manage All project deliverables and tasks.
Team Leadership:
• Coach and mentor project management practitioners and share knowledge of best practices.
• Establish the PMO organization structure, hire and manage project staffing requirements in line with project objectives.
• Coordinate project deliverables with Project Managers, Analysts, Market Leads, Regional Directors, and support contractors in a direct and indirect reporting structure.
• Set annual performance targets for direct reports and conduct performance reviews.
• Oversee Project Managers for the delivery of projects/programs on time, within scope and on budget.
Prioritization:
• Provide Top Management with the information needed to assess and decide which proposals have the highest potential value, impact, and strategic alignment.
• Interface with Top Management to define project priorities, implementation opportunities, challenges and communicate project risks and opportunities.
Position: Projects Control Director
Responsibilities: Include but not limited to:
• Provides guidance, direction, and specialized assistance to the company projects for the resolution of difficult and complex projects control problems.
• Interfaces with clients, attends regular meetings, and provides statistical reports.
• Manages a team of Projects Control staff who are qualified to analyze, evaluate, and forecast project costs, as well as performance against an established schedule with critical milestones.
• Assesses the impact(s) of design/construction changes and schedule slippages.
• Oversees the development and maintenance of an established system to show the hierarchy of plans and schedules; keeps project and company management fully informed.
• Coordinates staffing requirements, assigns and supervises project work activities, and trains personnel.
• Completes performance reviews and provides personnel development for the assigned employees.
• Recommends and oversees the customization of project control systems to meet specific project requirements.
• Creates statistical reports for management on a recurring or one-of-a-kind basis Supports business development efforts by providing input for proposals and participating in presentations, as required.
• Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
Responsibilities Include but not limited to:
• Gathers information from all departments. across the organization and identifies required facilities, utilities and services.
• Plan and implement company’s projects to the best interest of the company and prioritize the implementation of these projects.
• Estimate the cost of each work or service provided by the Engineering Department to other departments.
• Plan and coordinate the layout, study and implementation of project, working closely with the technical resources in each business function.
• Plan and coordinate preparing tenders and analyzing technical and financial bids.
• Assist in the selection of consultant’s technical providers and ensure their work is carried out in according to service agreements and contract arrangements.
• Supervise and monitor the implementation of projects, to be carried out in different regions as scheduled.
• Follow-up and supervise initial and final takeover of completed projects.
• Identify the maintenance and repair requirements for the company’s projects and centers. Supervise implementation, identify and approve quantities and specifications of construction materials for projects.
• Participate in technical committees and give engineering advises.
• Control and reduce costs of works and services provided by the Engineering department.
• Update and apply policies, procedures and instructions related to design and execute company’s projects in various locations.
• Examine and develop the Department’s work by introducing efficient action-plans and applying software and mechanisms for reducing costs and increasing productivity.
• Identify training requirements for department’s employees in order to improve performance.
• Participate in annual budget exercise for the Department.
• Perform other jobs as assigned by the Director - HR Support Services.
1- To be responsible for the proper execution of the works and effective implementation of financial and commercial aspects of the project in order to meet or improve upon the forecasted costs, budgetary requirements, revenue and profit whilst maintaining positive cash-flow.
2-To imbue the Company Health, Safety and Environmental management culture, adherence to the Company Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) policies and proper implementation of the Company’s corporate procedures and standards, whilst simultaneously ensuring compliance with the law, Client’s HSE requirements and OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001 standards on the project.
3-To plan, identify and manage the deployment and utilization of appropriate resources (equipment, people, subcontractors, materials and methods) to execute the works and achieve or exceed programmed requirements.
4- To imbue the Company Quality, culture, plan and manage the quality performance on the project to meet client specifications, company quality management requirements and ensure maintenance of ISO 9001 certification.
5- To coordinate the activities of the project team and to create a harmonious working environment that supports the development of project employees in order to maximize team productivity and develop skills as required.
6- To co-ordinate with client so as to optimize the company’s opportunity on the project and to build a sound relationship with the Client and consultants in order to help ensure project objectives are achieved, through effective resolution of any issues.
To plan, monitor, assess resources, direct and act to ensure adherence to the Construction program in order to complete the project within the contract period.
To determine and monitor work methods and performance of subcontractors and employees in order to ensure compliance with their obligations.
To prepare an outline of method statement for trade activities based on project specifications and relevant approved drawings.
To coordinate with the Technical Department in order to get the latest approved materials, shop drawings.
To advise and provide input into negotiation and selection of subcontractors and suppliers trade activities in order to meet project budgeted cost and quality.
To manage terms and deliverables for both the prime contract and subcontracts in order to protect the Company’s risks and contractual obligations.
To provide input to cost control in conjunction with the Commercial, Production, Planning Departments and Project Director / Manager in order to manage project cost and risk.
To regularly review and monitor HSE concerns at site in order to ensure a safe working environment, in line with the Management Systems Manual and Project Management Plans.
Coordinate design deliverables to site subcontractors.
Coordinate interfaces between sections and suppliers in order to ensure project requirements are managed.
Fully In-charge of Programming and monitoring of Administration Complex and both internal and external Roads which includes Monitoring work on site and coordinating with all departments regarding engineering, technical, commercial, logistics, materials, quality and safety.
Manpower allocation based on work program and priorities, and assures that the works are done as per the project and company plans and programs within time, cost, quality and safety frames and standards.
Providing engineering solutions as well as appropriate techniques for structure construction as well as finishing activities.
Liaison and coordination with all subcontractors regarding work plans, day to day activities, manpower allocation and preparing bills.
Surveying all zone quantities and preparing schedule for material requesitions and taking part in preparing the project master plan.
- Supervising the municipality projects execution and monitoring the works regarding Time, cost and quality.
- Liaison with the contractors in all aspects including quantities surveying and payments approval.
