• Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate identified risks, including the development of emergency response plans.
• Lead incident investigations to determine root causes of accidents and near misses.
• Attending client's weekly HSE walk-through for Project site.
• Organize and implement NEOM Eltizam program at site with support of Site engineers / Supervisors.
• Implementing NEOM Health & Assurance standard and safety policies on site.
• HSE statistics data Submission through NEOM Enablon system.
• Collect, analyze, and report HSE data and performance metrics to senior management.
• Conduct regular workplace safety inspections audits to identify hazards, unsafe practices, and non-compliance issues.
• Coordinate drills and exercises to ensure that employees are prepared for emergency situations and respond accordingly.
• Implementation of MSRA, HSE Plans and emergency response plans that comply with Company policies and procedures as well as local requirements on site.
• Ensuring that all project personnel comply with HSE training and medical requirements Fit to Work.
• Organizing and conducting HSE training program.
• Provide awareness program training to Site Staff and workers to ensure that everyone understands hazards and their controls and promotes good work practice.
• Evaluate and manage HSE performance of subcontractors, suppliers, and service providers to ensure they meet safety and environmental requirements.
• Coordinate with the Site Project manager and Construction team related to safety concern.
• Providing assistance of site Safety professional at project site.
• Promote a safety culture throughout the organization by encouraging safe behaviors, reporting of near misses, and active engagement in HSE initiatives.
• Managing all HSE related issues and ensuring the effective implementation of companies HSE Plan, Procedures and Policy at site.
• Review of and approval of JSA and other HSE related documents for project
• Attending client/ consultant meetings and close-out of any comments in coordination with the project management.
• Reviewing Safety Observation Log and inspection reports from site safety officers and coordinating with concerned site engineer for close-out.
• Review and monitoring of Safety Induction, Medical first aid facility, Plant equipment inspections and permit systems.
• Review of inspections for Tools, equipment’s, Minimum acceptable standards at site etc.
• Assisting Weekly Project Safety meetings, Consultant and Client meetings etc.
• Preparing Minutes of meeting.
• Ensure that the HSE team is adequately trained and equipped to perform their roles effectively.
• Attending Client Consultant Joint Safety Inspections and producing reports for close-out
• Updating Emergency evacuation plan and procedures as per the changes and requirement
• Monitor and measure progress with incident corrective action plan and assist in coordinating emergency rescue and evacuation drills at site.
• Identifying training needs and advising the Management.
• Preparation of weekly and monthly safety data sheet and statistic Report.
• Assisting safety manager in Emergency planning and updating.
• Assisting Safety Manager for the preparation of major accident investigation documents preparation and submission to Authorities.
• Coordination of subcontractor on issues related to HSE.
