Preparing and processing of financial records to ensure that all business transactions are accurate, complete, timely, and in conformity with the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and standards
Performing general accounts analysis and reconciliations, including inter-company transactions, bank reconciliations, E-dirham card, Noqodi wallet, and employer’s benefit costs

Monitoring and maintaining insurances such as comprehensive vehicle insurance, group insurance, stock insurance as well as marine insurance related to import orders
Collecting employee time sheets and other necessary documents for preparation of monthly salary template
Assist in year-end closing and in auditing activities by providing necessary information and preparing requested documentations
Maintains file handling, recordkeeping and accounting systems
Prepares ad hoc reports as requested
Assisting the Internal Audit Head in developing a general audit plan and schedule for the audit team and in delegating necessary staffs for the execution of the audit plan.
Developing a risk-based approached internal audit program for the bank and designing appropriate audit procedure in order to attain the objective for each area of operations.
Determining full compliance of each units/branches with the Bank's established policies and procedures.
Evaluating effectiveness of internal control and adherence to internal control mechanisms by performing financial, operational, and compliance audits in accordance with the internal audit program
Recommending ways to correct deviations committed by the branch, if there are any, from any of the Bank's policies and procedures and from Central Bank and Anti Money Laundering rules and regulations
Recommending improvement in internal control and risk management systems and economy of operations for the branch to ensure its sustainable growth in assets and profitability.
Reporting audit findings and recommendations to appropriate management based on the results of regularly scheduled audits, non-scheduled audits, and at any time when issues need to be addressed by management.
Conducting follow-up reviews of financial, operational, or regulatory compliance deficiencies noted during audits.
Assisting the top management in decision-making during mergers and acquisitions through conducting a comprehensive due diligence audit of the subject entity
Conducting investigations of irregularities discovered by or brought to the auditor’s attention.
Investigate, as requested by the top-management or the bank’s security officer for fraud, embezzlements, and defalcations within the bank working in cooperation with law enforcement agencies in any such cases as deemed necessary.
Performing other duties as required, consistent with the goals, objectives, and responsibilities of the internal audit department and with the approval of the Audit Committee.
