In my role, Ive managed the acquisition procedures for the IAC Library, which involves handling budgets, generating reports, considering faculty recommendations, seeking approvals, obtaining quotations, conducting vendor comparisons, following up with vendors, and managing bill processing. Additionally, Ive been responsible for overseeing collection development to ensure that it aligns with organizational goals and maintaining proper organization within the librarys holdings. Moreover, Ive been actively involved in planning and providing library services aimed at increasing awareness and usage of the library among user community. Furthermore,
• Served as a member of the library committee and IACs academic council.
• Offered support to archives department in streamlining the processes.
• Managed library to ensure efficiency of operations and continues improvements by creating good working environment within library to motivate staff to accomplish tasks.
During my two tenures with UCP Library, I was responsible for executing inquiry management to actively support teaching, learning, and research endeavours. This involved planning and conducting orientations and information skills training sessions, both in one-on-one and group formats. I actively collaborated with senior managers and various teams to foster and enhance library services. Furthermore, I analysed service trends and made valuable contributions to policy development as an integral team member. In addition to these responsibilities, I also took charge of library marketing efforts on various social media platforms, working to increase the librarys visibility and engagement with its user community. My significant achievements at UCP includes;
• Conducted 45 sessions of library orientation programs for newly enrolled students at bachelor, masters, MPhil, and Ph.D. levels in 2017 as well as multiple sessions on Endnote and searching strategies for students during 2017 and 2018.
• Organized and facilitated events, such as Book fairs and World Book and Copyright Day celebrations in 2014, 2017, and 2018.
I meticulously planned and conducted tailored information literacy sessions for faculty, students, and researchers. This involved close collaboration with academic staff from various departments to evaluate their training needs and assess the impact of library teaching sessions. In addition, I organized and executed the Library Safari Program in 2016, which encompassed library orientation sessions and hands-on lab sessions for new students. Through this program, I aimed to teach effective library and internet resource searching techniques, ensuring that students had the necessary skills to navigate and utilize these resources
for their academic pursuits.

• Managed and coordinated development of digitized FCCUs thesis collection.
• Actively engaged in establishment and execution of service-wide guidelines and protocols.
I managed acquisition of library material, including preparing requisitions, placing orders, and processing bills and performed technical processing of library material, such as MARC-based cataloguing into KOHA.I was also responsible for managing reference and circulation query management systems. Furthermore, I served as the liaison librarian for pharmaceutical studies, providing information and orientation sessions to faculty members and delivering on-demand literacy sessions.
The title of my PhD Thesis was Congeniality of workplace environment for female library and information professional in higher education sector. I presented a poster in a local student conference and won cash prize for researching a novel idea. I also published one paper (from the thesis) and presented a poster in international conference.
