Working as a Freelance Consultant from Jan 2009 onwards, providing Human Resource (HR) consultancy (i.e. working in collaboration with the management, developing policies, HR Manual, training staff for the effective implementation of these policies) also providing consultancy on various International standards such as ISO (International organization of standardization) QMS 9001 (Quality Management System), ISO EMS 14000 (Environment Management System), ISO FSMS 22000 (Food Safety Management System), OHSAS 18001 (Occupational Health and Safety Assessment), SA 8000 (Social Accountability Standard) etc. Major sectors include Foods, Textile, NGO’s, Construction, Cement, Engineering, Oil & Gas, Education and Services industry.
Responsibilities:
• System understanding, information gathering and gap analysis
• Preparation of system & departmental procedures according to the requirements of standard
• Review & implementation (awareness & trainings of staff)
• Conducting internal audit to check compliance with the standard
• Facilitating the management for conducting external audit
• Incorporating the changes in the documentation if suggested in the audit

• Involved in establishing and facilitating employee development and training
• Employee orientation and onboarding
• Devising recruitment policy with the appropriate technology options
• Involved in the operational and administrative HR activities

• Assisting in the annual pay review process, performance appraisals, rewards and bonuses

• Policy making, implementation, review and incorporating regulatory employment legislation
• Preparing head count reports (staff strength report, leavers/joiners etc.)
