Monitoring the Project’s Cost such as Resource Cost, Labor Cost & Overhead.
* Control the Project Budget & Make the Cost Baseline.
* Forecasting for Activity Cost.
* Prepare of Project Cash Flow.
* Relating Cost, Schedule & Updates the Budget.
* Prepare Monthly report (Progress of work, Manpower Budget Spent, Material
Budget Spent to show the status of Project).
* Corporate with the PM of the Project to decrease the Cost of the Project and to
increase the progress of the project.
* Follow up all variation order (Change Request) happen during the project and
claim for it.
* Reviews, monitoring & Controlling the Invoices of Sub-Contractor, Petty Cash,
Purchase Order of materials and all expenditure of the project.
* Update the estimation team of some prices has priced wrongly for previous
project.
* Interfere with the estimation team regarding pricing in order to reach the best dry
cost.
* Interfere in all the problems of the Project related to cost and the budget of the
project and try to resolve it with lowest cost.

Cost Control with following project in RCY project located in Yenbu (8154, 8180,
8144, 7055 & 7028), In Jizan (7001), In Jeddah (Royal Guard Project) & (Maintenance
for Cornish area & KAU1, 2 & 3) (Total 240 Million SR) (Alfaal Arabia CO.)

Attend all necessary meetings as required for the project to meet the deadline.
* Ensure that all unresolved issues are followed up with the appropriate parties and
where necessary elevated to regional level.
* Preparing Cash flow, Petty-cash and all inquiries required for the project.
* Participates in quality control checks, maintaining quality standards in all work
produced, checking computations, and/or reviewing designs and drawings
performed by others.
* Assign targets for accomplishments and ensure targets are met on daily basis for
all groups at site.
* Plan and organize monitoring of contractor’s activities. Review activities of
subordinates to ensure field operations are adequately monitored and all necessary
tests and inspections are conducted.
* Provides engineering services during construction activities by reviewing shop
drawings for conformance with specification.
* Coordinate with other departments to obtain required support.
* Organize and conducts engineering investigations and planning work which have
a well-defined scope.
* Reviews shop drawings / as-built drawings, material submittals and technical or
contractual clarifications submitted by contractor, and coordinates and routes for
various Departmental.
* Reviews and recommends approval of Contractor’s Monthly Invoices and
Progress reports.
* Enforce the relevant safety rules at site and make sure personal protective
equipment is worn as and where required by the staff under their responsibility.
* Take immediate corrective action to avoid any cumulative effect of such deviation
and recover the delay to finish the task in due time.

Ensure that the site is kept in safe and clean environment.
* Attend all necessary meetings as required for the project.
* Prepare Take offs, Bill of Quantity (BOQ) and as built drawing.
* Approval and following up for all civil plans (Design & Shop drawing).
* Preparing all inquiries required for the project.
* Ensure the request of material, machines, equipment or any other items needed in
the field are ordered on time.
* Reviews problems with contractor to determine whether proposed remedies are
adequate for resolution.
* Provide guidance to contractors regarding schedule, procedures, scope of work
and other information requirements.
* Review and verify that items submitted for billing on work estimates are justified
and confirm actual performance.
* Determine percentage of work completed and recommend payment of Work
Estimates as appropriate.
* Advise contractor when not acceptable or of necessary corrective action or
additional documentation required.

Making concrete compressive strength (Cylinders and Cubes).
* Making Tensile strength of the steel rebar.
* Making testing of all kind of Soil.
* Testing all kind of specimen (Gravel, Asphalt).
* Making different test on concrete and check what is the best quantity of the
(Gravel, Sand) to get the higher strength relative to water-cement ratio.
