Internet Mobile Robot - Project at Carleton University

• Led and managed a team of 5 people
• Develop and implement the capability to control a mobile robot over the Internet
• Wrote embedded code for Arduino microcontroller in C++
• Code in asp.net and C# for the website that controls the robot and displays its sensory outputs
• Project used an IIS web server with an XML sheet as its data base to track and update robot movements and sensory information
• Research appropriate hardware parts to build the robot such as microcontroller, camera, and sensors
• Submit project progress report and present final work along with final report to supervisor and other faculty members
• Group was voted favourite project at the department's poster fair, project received a final grade of "A"

Internet Mobile Robot (in detail final project): the project was built to control a robot wirelessly through internet to move in all directions and included a video camera streaming to the website that we built, and prompting the gps direction of the robot to the website to get feedback. The project included both hardware and software (coding) parts. There are two main parts: Arduino Microcontroller and Web server.
