Honey Plant
After 4 years spent in building & developing the infrastructures of the plants, investing in new machines
and assets and put them operational, it became the right time to move for leading the manufacturing
teams at Al Shifa Honey Plant. In this role, I'm managing the teams of production, maintenance, process
control and the warehouses.
The KPIs focuses on the following main perspectives: financial, manufacturing excellence, organizational &
plant responsiveness (or customer service
Responsible for the major “processes-development” projects for both meat and honey plants. This
includes the design, supplier / contractors sourcing & qualifying, and project execution & control.
Key achievements / highlights:
* Managed 80 MMSR major projects for 2 plants’ major expansions.
* A core team member for SAP PS Module, where we’ve automated the CapEx cycle to make it
fully on SAP.
* Introduced new machines suppliers & industrial solutions in a through visiting international
exhibitions and through connections within the professional network.
Meat Plant
Responsible for the production activities with an “extended” scope covering the different supportive
functions (i.e. maintenance, quality and warehouses). Key achievements / highlights:
* Introduced the “bags’ plastic clipping” principle to replace the metal clips as a development for
the critical control points (CCP).
* Worked on optimization project to reduce the manpower in the production processes.
* Managed a smooth handover to my successor (manufacturing manager) with excellent results.
Meat Plant
Responsible for the production planning and execution in addition to the process control activities. Moved
from the pastry plant to the newly acquired meat plant in November 2011 and was reporting remotely to
the plant manager; I was acting manager with accountability. Key achievements / highlights:
* Started and stabilized the operations in meat plant to work as independent unit from the
mother plant.
* A core member in a “SAP Evolution” project aimed at developing PP module.
* Played a key role in the successful “Meat Re-Launch” project.
* Introduced new “batching” system.
* Led initiatives to introduce new products to the market utilizing the new acquired equipments.
