Heading and overseeing the sales teams and insure they achieve their targets on the below listed events:
Airport Show, Travel Catering Expo, Global Airports Leaders Forum and AccessAbilities Expo
Role: Develop and maintain full understanding of markets and the business unit’s objectives to enable input into business strategy and development of new event concepts and launches. Meets and exceeds sales targets on given exhibitions
Key Deliverables:
1. Generate revenue
• Progresses sales to generate revenue
• Conducts face to face visits
• Handles relationship with market leaders and key accounts
• Visits competing events
• Conducts telephone sales
• Prospects for new business
• Designs e-mail shots
• Develops non-standard solutions to improve sales ie e-revenues, sponsorships etc, ,
• Achieves all sales targets
2. Management of sales teams and agents
• Co-ordinates activities to achieve sales
• Appointing agents to sell the events around the globe
• Plans work and sets targets
• Reviews and feeds back on performance
• Coaches to develop skills
• Arranges joint visits for coaching
• Supports progression of Sales Teams
3. Administration
• Keeps sales records updated
• Manages floor plan
• Issues and returns contracts
• Manages and develops database
• Organises distribution of sales communications
• Manages sponsors & major exhibitors while making sure all their requirement were properly delivered
4. Strategic planning & forecasting
• Sets targets for own shows
• Carries our pre-show budgeting (sales, marketing and Operation cost related)
• Work on all event budget with the Group Exhibitions Director
• Improve and develop existing sectors
• Writes and implements sales plans
• Set marketing plan with the marketing team and insure it goes with our sales plan.
• Develops interim forecasts
• Creates monthly sales forecasts
5. Industry knowledge
• Develops in depth knowledge of sector
• Studies magazines for leads and market information
• Builds knowledge through face to face meetings
• Inputs to new product development
• Inputs to promotional material contents
6. Sales Effectiveness:
• Implement Reed Exhibitions standards in the sales teams
• Implement new strategies to improve sales effectiveness within the teams
• Handling LinkedIn Sales Navigator program within Reed Exhibitions Middle East
• Conduct training sessions to all sales members in Reed Middle East under the guidelines of Reed Exhibitions Academy
Working on Airport Show and SITL exhibition
Produces, implements and monitors action plans to ensure Revenue Plan objectives are achieved.
Creates and implements special programmes to achieve greater productivity.
Plans and executes sales trips to major market areas.
Conducts weekly reviews of sales personnel activity to ensure targets and sales objectives are being met.
Produces monthly Sales Report and forecasts.
Carries out any reasonable request made by management.
Produces, implements and monitors action plans to ensure Revenue Plan objectives are achieved
Creates and implements special programmes to achieve greater productivity through (Increasing average rate - Increasing occupancy - Increasing business volume during difficult periods - Increasing local food and beverage banqueting sales)
Ensures the hotel is represented as an active member of the local community through association membership.
Plans and executes sales trips to major market areas
Attends major travel functions to promote sales for the hotel.
Conducts weekly reviews of sales personnel activity to ensure targets and sales objectives are being met.
Produces monthly Sales Report and forecasts
Meets with guests from major producers/organisers of big events staying in the hotel to ensure customer satisfaction
Carries out any reasonable request made by management

Interacts with other sales personnel within the hotel and other Al Diar Hotels
Implements all sales action plans related to his/her marketing area as outlines in the Marketing Plan
Services and maintenance in FEEC - Abu Dhabi - U.A.E
During my training internship with High Tech, I have learned and acquired vast experience in medical instruments and equipment operations, maintenance, software installation and calibration in various departments of Sheikh Zayed Specialist Hospital as Inhalation Test Machine, Defibrillator, Incubator, Infusion Pump, Syringe Pump, Doppler, EEG, and ECG. During my internship I have also elevated and enhanced my numerate, teamwork, communication and engineering skills.
I worked in the Biomedical Engineering department. It was a tremendous chance to work closely within my field and attain practical and theoretical experience. Also it helped me to know the hospital departments as Blood Bank, X-ray Section, Delivery Section, Emergency Room (ER), Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Intensive Care Pediatrice (ICP), Coronary Care Unit (CCR), Operating Room (OR), Inhalation, Sterilization Room, Hemodialysis Section and Bone Narrow Section Diagnostic Section for (EEG-ECG-EMG).
Graduated with Bachelors in Biomedical Engineering Final Grade: C+ Graduation Project: CLINITRON Air Fluidized Therapy Unit Graduation Project Grade: A (96%)
