Asset and Facilities Management Department Manager at HRH Prince Mohammed Bin Salman Non-Profit City "MiSK City"

Highlights:
• Feasible and cost-effective solutions and develop citywide assets and facilities management strategies for MiSK’s City, which spans over 3.3 million square meters of land, with a project value of $20+ billion. The City comprises of 12 districts and includes a university, college, school, museum, conference center, culinary arts institute, residential, hotels, offices, retail outlets, community and sports facilities and public parks among others.
• Managed international third-party consultants to come up with a service charge model as well as developing MiSK City- wide Waste Management Strategy with a scope value of $133k.
• Managed a team of 23P with 3 department heads and 20 gardeners and irrigation technicians for one of the completed sub-projects (City Parks Project. Moreover, built the Deployment Plan for hiring approx. 65 staff members for all FM Services (including managerial and supervisory levels).

Responsibilities:
• Head the Asset and Facilities Management Department for the proposed Smart City and advise the CEO and Director of Infrastructure on development of a city-wide asset and facilities management strategy offering smart and sustainable solutions.
• Review all existing master planning documents of the project including preliminary city-wide security strategy, accessibility code, location of assets/facilities, transportation & mobility, community facilities, parking among others.
• During the development stages, manage the development and implementation of the facility management strategy for the operations phase of the project and coming up with revenue generating services during construction e.g. construction & demolition waste recycling, food catering and life support services
• Prepare org. structures, headcounts, deployment & mobilization plans and programs for the operation and maintenance of the soft landscape & irrigation maintenance, Landscape Nursery and other soft services. Managing a team of City Parks Management.
• Develop Smart City Services related to asset, facilities management on a city-wide and building levels and its operation including building management systems (BMS), Smart Waste Management, Smart Irrigation, Smart Parking, Sustainable Cleaning meeting LEED pre-requisites and requirements (as part of the Sustainability KPIs).
• Coordinate with a third-party consultant to establish a fee charging regime ‘service charge model’ and collection process with all needed systems and legal framework. Moreover, manage an international consultant to devise the city-wide waste management strategy.
• Proposed sustainable as well as revenue-generating solutions (construction & demolition waste recycling, food and green waste composting) food catering, laundry and other life support services during construction, commercializing/monetarizing spaces, which lead to doubling the forecasted revenues from $2.1m to $6.2m.
